We lift you up before the throne of grace, dear one, with hearts heavy for the pain you carry from abuse and trauma. The weight of such experiences can feel unbearable at times, and we stand with you in the truth that your suffering does not go unnoticed by our Heavenly Father. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He does not leave you to walk this road alone, though the enemy would have you believe otherwise. We rebuke the lies of isolation, shame, and despair that may cling to you, for they are not of God. Jesus came to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives, and release from darkness for the prisoners (Isaiah 61:1). His love is your refuge, and His strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We pray that the Holy Spirit would fill you afresh with His power, renewing your strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). May you find rest in His presence, where true healing begins. The journey to wholeness is not always swift, but it is certain in Christ. We declare over you the promise of God: "I will restore you to health and heal your wounds" (Jeremiah 30:17). Let this truth sink deep into your spirit, for the One who calls you is faithful, and He will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24).
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and community, for the Lord often uses His people as vessels of His comfort and healing. Do not carry this burden in silence—share it with those who will pray with you, weep with you, and point you to Jesus. The enemy thrives in secrecy, but the light of Christ exposes and dispels darkness. You are not defined by what was done to you; you are defined by the love of Christ, who gave Himself for you (Galatians 2:20).
Father God, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, asking for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit to renew their strength and resilience. Heal the wounds of their past, Lord, and replace every lie with Your truth. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them to face each day with courage, knowing that You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). May they rise above the pain, walking in the freedom and victory that is theirs in Christ. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
