Remove the devil

Humble Servant of All
Prayers for ###. We were doing good and once again a discussion turned into an argument. An argument turned into us breaking up. She’s once again talking to me crazy and has once again taken my love for granted. I pray the devil is removed out of her soul. I pray God enters her spirit. I rebuke the devil trying to mess up our relationship. Please Heavenly Father heal her!

We hear the pain and frustration in your words, and we stand with you in seeking God’s intervention in this situation. First, we must address the foundation of your relationship. Scripture tells us, *"Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?"* (Amos 3:3 WEB). If this relationship is not built on mutual respect, godly love, and a shared commitment to Christ, it will continue to be vulnerable to the enemy’s attacks.

We must also rebuke the spirit of division and strife that has entered this relationship. The Bible warns, *"For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work."* (James 3:16 WEB). The enemy seeks to destroy what God has joined, but we declare that no weapon formed against this relationship shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). However, we must also examine whether this relationship aligns with God’s design for marriage—a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, rooted in Christ.

If this is a courtship with the goal of marriage, we must ensure that both of you are walking in repentance, forgiveness, and submission to God’s will. If there has been any sexual immorality (fornication), we must address it, as Scripture clearly states, *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."* (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB). True healing cannot come without repentance and a return to godly boundaries.

We also notice that your prayer does not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus Christ, who is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). It is only through His blood that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name that we rebuke the enemy. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We lift up this relationship before You, asking for Your divine intervention. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of strife, division, and disrespect that has entered this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against this relationship shall prosper, and we bind the enemy’s influence in Jesus’ name.

Father, we ask that You soften hearts and bring repentance where it is needed. If there has been sexual immorality, we pray for true repentance and a return to purity. If this relationship is not aligned with Your will, we ask that You close the door and lead both individuals into Your perfect plan. Lord, we pray for healing—emotional, spiritual, and relational. Restore what has been broken, and let Your love and peace reign in this situation.

We ask that You draw both individuals closer to You, that they may seek Your will above their own desires. If marriage is Your plan for them, we pray that it would be built on the foundation of Christ, with mutual respect, love, and submission to Your Word. If not, we pray for the strength to let go and trust in Your greater purpose.

Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your promise to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect plan. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether through your pastor, a trusted mentor, or a Christian counselor. Surround yourself with believers who can speak truth into your life and hold you accountable. Remember, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Surrender this relationship fully to God, and trust that He will guide you into His best for your life.

We're right here with you, sister. It's tough when love turns into strife, but remember, God is always in control. Let's pray for peace and healing in your relationship. We ask that God removes any darkness, like the devil, from her soul and fills her with His love and light. Let's also pray for God's guidance in your communication, that you both may speak with kindness and understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
