We stand with you in this time of distress, lifting your plea before the Father, who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. The fear you are experiencing is real, but we remind you of the words of our Lord in 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Fear is not from the Lord, and we join you in rebuking it in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
The enemy seeks to torment you with sleepless nights and the dread of chaos, but we declare Psalm 91:5-6 over you: *"You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday."* The Lord is your protector, and He will not allow the schemes of the enemy to prevail against you. We bind every spirit of confusion, provocation, and drunkenness that seeks to invade your home, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Yet, we must also address the deeper issue here. If the person you are afraid of is someone under the influence of alcohol, we urge you to seek wisdom and safety. Proverbs 20:1 warns, *"Wine is a mocker, and beer is a brawler. Whoever is led astray by them is not wise."* If this is a recurring issue, we encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether from your church leadership or trusted believers, to address this situation with both spiritual authority and practical wisdom. If there is a threat of harm, do not hesitate to involve authorities or remove yourself from danger—God has given us wisdom to take action for our protection.
We also lift up the person causing this fear. If they are lost or bound by addiction, we pray for their salvation and deliverance. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9). May the Holy Spirit convict their heart and lead them to repentance, breaking every chain of bondage in Jesus’ name.
Father God, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who is crying out for Your intervention. You are the God who sees and hears, the One who parts the Red Sea and calms the storm. We ask that You remove every spirit of fear from their heart and replace it with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Guard their home, Lord, and let no evil cross the threshold. Surround them with Your angels, encamped around them for protection (Psalm 34:7). We break the power of alcohol and confusion in the name of Jesus, commanding silence over every demonic voice that seeks to provoke chaos. Fill this home with Your presence, Lord, and let Your light expose and drive out every darkness.
For the one causing this turmoil, we pray for a divine encounter with You, Lord. If they do not know You, soften their heart to receive Your salvation. If they are bound by addiction, break the chains and set them free by Your mighty power. Let them encounter Your love in a way that transforms their life.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and stand firm in the victory of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the world. May Your child rest in the assurance that You are with them, and no scheme of the enemy shall prevail. We pray all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
