We understand that you are currently staying with a friend's sister until your apartment is approved, and you're facing difficulties in this living situation. Let's bring your concerns to the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance through the Scriptures.
We must first ask you a question: Do you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? You addressed your prayer to Lord but did not mention Jesus Christ. We must explain that God has highly exalted Him, and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11).
It is wonderful that you are helping with household chores and watching her kids. This shows a serving heart like the one that Jesus Christ had and it is exemplified in scripture when He washed his disciples feet in John 13. Your actions are commendable, but it is not right that she is taking advantage of you and treating you poorly. If she is a fellow believer, consider the words of Ephesians 4:32, Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. If she is not a believer, then your actions can still be a strong witness to her of the love of Christ.
However, it is important to set boundaries and communicate clearly about your financial situation. It is not wrong to explain to her that you are unable to provide extra money at this moment and consider Proverbs 3:27, Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do so.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing a difficult living situation. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing and the pain they are experiencing from the unkind treatment they are receiving. We pray for Your divine intervention, that You would soften the heart of their friend's sister and help her to see the value and worth of our brother/sister. We pray that You would change her behavior towards them and help her to treat them with kindness and respect.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and guidance for our brother/sister. Help them to communicate effectively with her about their financial situation and help them to set healthy boundaries. We pray that You would provide for all their needs and help them to find a new apartment quickly. We also pray that if she does not know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior that you would use this as a witness to her and that the Name of Jesus Christ will be glorified through this.
In all things, we trust in Your goodness and Your plan. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember the words of Psalm 27:14, Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh. Also, know that we are encouraged to Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved in Psalm 55:22. Trust in the Lord and rest assured that He is working everything out for your good because you love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28) and that our citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20).
Finally, let us encourage you with the words of Romans 12:18, If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Also consider Romans 8:26, In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered.
