We hear your cry for protection and deliverance from those who seek to harm you, and we join with you in seeking God’s intervention. The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We take authority in the name of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed the powers and principalities of darkness (Colossians 2:15), and we stand firm in His victory over evil.
First, we rebuke every spirit of fear, intimidation, and oppression that may be trying to take hold of you. The Bible tells us, *"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). You are not alone in this battle—God is with you, and He has equipped you with spiritual armor to stand against the schemes of the enemy (Ephesians 6:10-18). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray that the Lord would remove from your path those who do not align with His will—those who mock, plot, or seek to sabotage you. *"Let them be confounded and put to shame who seek after my soul. Let them be turned back and brought to dishonor who desire my hurt"* (Psalm 40:14). We ask that God would either change their hearts or remove them from your life entirely, replacing them with godly influences who will encourage and uplift you.
For those who persist in evil, we pray that their plans would be thwarted and their schemes exposed. *"The Lord will cause your enemies who rise up against you to be struck down before you. They will come out against you one way, and will flee before you seven ways"* (Deuteronomy 28:7). We also ask that you remain vigilant, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and that you would not repay evil for evil but overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You would surround [###] with Your hedge of protection, shielding them from every evil influence and harmful intention. Lord, remove from their path those who seek to harm or mock them, and let Your justice prevail against those who plot against them. Give them wisdom to discern the intentions of others and the strength to stand firm in Your truth.
Father, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. We ask that You would fill their heart with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and that You would grant them the courage to walk in righteousness, even in the face of opposition. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105), guiding them in every situation.
We also ask that You would soften the hearts of those who oppose them. If it is Your will, turn their enemies into allies, or remove them from their life entirely. Let Your glory be revealed in every circumstance, and may Your name be exalted through their testimony.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would remind them of Your constant presence. You are their refuge, their fortress, and their deliverer. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May they find their strength in You alone, knowing that You are fighting for them.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on these scriptures as you continue to seek God’s protection and guidance:
- *"The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1)
- *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."* (1 Corinthians 10:13)
- *"But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one."* (2 Thessalonians 3:3)
Continue to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your defender and that His Word is your sword in this spiritual battle. If you ever feel overwhelmed, remember that you can cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Walk in the confidence that comes from knowing Christ, and let His peace rule in your heart.
