Please PRAY for URGENT removal of my backyard tenant who is busy with evil stuff that she may find alternative living place

We understand the urgency and distress in your request, and we join you in seeking God’s will in this difficult situation. The Scriptures remind us that we are to live peaceably with all, as much as it depends on us (Romans 12:18), yet we are also called to distance ourselves from evil and those who persist in unrighteousness. Proverbs 22:10 tells us, *"Drive out the mocker, and strife will go out; yes, quarrels and insults will stop."* This is not a call to act in hatred or malice but to seek wisdom and godly resolution, trusting that the Lord will guide the steps of both you and this tenant.

It is clear from your request that this individual is engaged in activities that are not pleasing to God, and we must pray for her soul as well as for your deliverance from this burden. The Lord calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44), but this does not mean we must endure a harmful or ungodly presence in our lives indefinitely. We are to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16), seeking God’s justice and mercy in all things.

First, we encourage you to examine your own heart and ensure that your motives are pure before the Lord—not rooted in bitterness, anger, or vengeance, but in a desire for righteousness and peace. Ask yourself if you have extended grace and patience, as the Lord has done for us. If there has been no effort to address this situation biblically, we urge you to do so with gentleness and truth. Sometimes, a firm but loving confrontation can lead to repentance or resolution (Matthew 18:15-17). If you have already taken these steps and the situation remains unchanged, then we trust the Lord to act on your behalf.

We also urge you to consider whether legal and practical steps are necessary. The Bible does not forbid us from using lawful means to protect our homes and families. In fact, governing authorities are established by God for our good (Romans 13:1-4), and it may be necessary to involve them if this tenant is breaking laws or lease agreements. Do what is right and lawful, trusting that God will honor your obedience.

Most importantly, we must pray for this woman’s salvation. The evil she is involved in is a snare that will lead to destruction unless she repents and turns to Christ. Ezekiel 33:11 declares, *"As I live, says the Lord Yahweh, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why will you die, house of Israel?"* Let us intercede for her soul, that the Lord would convict her of sin, draw her to Himself, and lead her to a place where she can encounter His transforming grace.

Now, let us pray together for this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this burden that our brother/sister carries. Lord, You are a God of justice and mercy, and we ask that You would intervene in this situation with Your perfect wisdom and timing. We pray that You would soften the heart of this tenant, convicting her of any sin in her life and drawing her to repentance. Lord, may she encounter Your truth and turn from the evil she is involved in. If it is Your will, open doors for her to find alternative living arrangements quickly, so that she may leave peacefully and without conflict.

Father, we also ask that You would protect our brother/sister and their household from any harm or spiritual attack. Cover them with Your blood, Lord Jesus, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Give them wisdom in how to handle this situation—whether through direct communication, legal action, or simply waiting on You to act. Grant them patience, peace, and a heart free from bitterness or fear.

We declare that this home belongs to You, Lord, and we ask that You would cleanse it of any ungodly influence. Let Your presence fill every corner, and let Your peace reign. If there are any spiritual strongholds tied to this tenant or her activities, we command them to be broken in the name of Jesus Christ. Let every plan of the enemy be exposed and thwarted, and let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would provide for our brother/sister in every way—financially, emotionally, and spiritually—as they navigate this trial. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory (Romans 8:28).

We pray all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
