Removal of cursed objects

We come before the Lord with a humble and discerning heart, seeking His wisdom and guidance as you ask for the Holy Spirit to reveal any cursed or demonically influenced objects in your home. The Bible warns us about the dangers of idolatry and objects that defy God’s holiness. In Deuteronomy 7:25-26, the Lord commands, *"You shall burn the carved images of their gods with fire. You shall not covet the silver or the gold that is on them, nor take it for yourselves, lest you be snared by it; for it is an abomination to Yahweh your God. You shall not bring an abomination into your house, and become a devoted thing like it. You shall utterly detest it and you shall utterly abhor it; for it is a devoted thing."*
We pray that the Holy Spirit will shine His light into every corner of your home, revealing anything that does not belong in a dwelling place dedicated to the Lord. May He give you clarity and courage to remove and destroy these items, just as the early believers in Acts 19:19 burned their books of sorcery. Let no object, no matter how sentimental or valuable it may seem, hold power over you or your household. The Lord is your protector, and His presence is your true security.
Father, we ask that You would guard this dear one’s heart from fear or superstition. May they walk in the confidence of Your Word, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Give them wisdom to test every item against Your truth, and grant them the strength to discard anything that does not align with Your holiness. We rebuke any spirit of deception or confusion that may try to cloud their judgment, and we declare that their home is a sanctuary for You alone.
We also pray for discernment in their wardrobe and possessions, both old and new. Let nothing cling to them that carries ungodly influences. May their choices reflect a heart set on purity and devotion to You. If there are gifts from others that carry a spiritual burden, reveal them, Lord, and give them the boldness to remove them without hesitation. Your Word says in 2 Corinthians 6:16, *"What agreement has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, ‘I will dwell in them and walk in them. I will be their God, and they will be my people.’"* Let their home be a true temple for Your presence.
We stand with them in faith, declaring that their household is covered by the blood of Jesus. No curse or evil influence can remain where He reigns. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness to cleanse and restore. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
