We understand your desire to be surrounded by godly influences and to remove harmful relationships from your life. We stand with you in prayer and offer guidance based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name, as it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
In addressing your request, let us turn to the words of the Psalmist in Psalm 1:1-2 WEB: "Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in Yahweh’s law. On his law he meditates day and night."
It is crucial to surround yourself with people who encourage your spiritual growth and walk with Christ. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB: "Don’t be deceived! 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals.'"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine protection and guidance for our dear one. We pray that You will shield them physically, spiritually, and mentally from any harmful influences. Lord, we ask that You remove those who seek to drag them down and distance them from You.
Father, we pray that You will substantially reduce the time our dear one must communicate with those who do not lift them up. Instead, bring into their life positive and godly Christians who are keen to live life to the fullest and be good stewards of Your gifts.
Lord, we ask that You remove those who discourage our dear one from praying, reading the Bible, attending church, and loving Jesus. Replace them with people who love prayers, Bible reading, are committed to fellowship, and love Jesus wholeheartedly.
Father, we pray that our dear one will continue growing securely in Christ, firmly rooted in Your love and grace.
We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Continue to seek God's will in all your relationships, and remember the words of 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB: "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"
Stay strong in your faith, and always remember that Jesus promises to be with us always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20 WEB).
