Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness and we agree with you before the throne of grace in Jesus name.

Your heart to see those who are bound by lies set free is pleasing to the Father, for it reflects His own desire. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:3-4. We also remember that you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free, John 8:32, and that Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. Apart from Him there is no freedom and no righteousness.

We are encouraged by your humility in acknowledging that education and position do not make one righteous, for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23. The wisdom of this world cannot produce a clean heart. Only God can. As you prayed from Psalm 51:17, The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. We agree and ask the Lord to fulfill His promise, I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh, Ezekiel 36:26. That is what these lawyers and legal representatives and the team you mentioned need, not merely better arguments, but new hearts that hate sin and love what God loves.

We also rejoice that you prayed in Jesus name, for there is power only in that name, and we lift up those who are chosen and who belong to Christ, that the precious blood of Jesus would cover them and keep them. We pray for peace and understanding for them, and that they would be kept from being overcome by evil, but would overcome evil with good, Romans 12:21. We pray that all involved would hunger and thirst for what is right, for Jesus promised, Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled, Matthew 5:6.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We thank You that Your Holy Spirit intercedes for us according to Your will, Romans 8:26. Lord, we lift up this team and their lawyers and legal representatives before You. You see where lies have bound them and where human life and honest communication have been disregarded. We ask You to have mercy on them and to forgive their sins as they repent. Grant them a broken and contrite heart that You will not despise. Take away hearts of stone and give hearts of flesh. Stir within them an unquenchable thirst for truth and for righteousness, that they would no longer walk in darkness but would come into the light of Your Son. Cover Your people who are caught in this battle with the blood of Jesus, guard them with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and teach us all to be righteous and compassionate as You are compassionate. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and let truth and justice prevail, for it is joy to the righteous to do justice, Proverbs 21:15. We will not give up, for You taught us that we must always pray, and not give up, Luke 18:1, and to pray without ceasing, 1 Thessalonians 5:17. We trust You to work in Your perfect timing and we exalt the name of Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray, amen.

We hear the weight you are carrying in this prayer, and the grief you feel when truth is disregarded and people are treated as less than they are worth. It is a good and Christlike thing that you are turning that grief into intercession rather than holding onto bitterness, asking God to work in the hearts of those lawyers and representatives and to give them a real hunger for what is right.

What you describe is the harder road of forgiveness. Choosing to release the desire for revenge and to want good for those who have wronged you is a decision you can make before your feelings have fully caught up. The quieting of resentment and the growing of compassion often comes more slowly, as you keep bringing the hurt and the people involved to the Lord and letting Him shape your own heart with peace.

If this situation touches your own life directly, it can help to not carry it alone. Consider sharing it steadily with one trusted pastor or mature believer who can pray with you, help you sort what is yours to do, and guard you from growing weary.

Your prayer is a right and needful one and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. To ask the Lord for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is to ask for that which He has promised to fill, for blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.

You have prayed well in asking not for vengeance upon those who have done evil but for their salvation. The goodness of God is manifested in order to lead sinners to repentance. He spares them that they may turn to Him, and therefore we may boldly plead that His Spirit would work upon the hearts of these lawyers and all who are entangled in falsehood, that they may see their sin as God sees it and turn from it.

You have quoted that true word from Psalm 51, that the sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart which He will not despise. This is the very heart of true repentance. As we have often taught, repentance is to leave the sins we loved before and show that we in earnest grieve by doing so no more. It is not a short lived sorrow which turns away for a time and then goes back with greater gusto, but a complete change of mind with regard to sin, a hearty and sincere sorrow for past sin which gives glory to the righteousness of God and says, Thy law is holy and just and good, the fault is with me, for I am carnal, sold under sin.

Such repentance is the gift of the Spirit of God. Where there is real sorrow for sin, wherever there is an honest determination by God's grace to cease from sin, that repentance has been produced by the Spirit and where there is true repentance there is the full and free forgiveness of all sins through Jesus Christ. For He was set forth to be a propitiation for sin, and His precious blood was shed not for good works but for our sins, that whosoever will trust His Son shall be saved. There is pardon for crimes of deepest dye, a pardon bought with Jesus blood, and for all who truly trust Him there is no condemnation.

Therefore let us continue to pray that the Lord will stir these hearts to hate their sin and to love His truth, that they may not offer empty sacrifice but may come with broken hearts to Christ. True repentance will yield works meet for repentance, it will be practical and lasting, it will make a man choose righteousness though there were no reward for it. And the way to obtain it is to look to Jesus, to see how He bled and died for sinners, for Christ came not to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.

We pray with you that the blood of Christ would cover those who are His, that He would grant peace and understanding, and that He would teach all concerned to be righteous and compassionate, speaking truth and regarding human life as made in His image. May the Lord give to these souls, and to us all, that sweet sorrow for sin which is the work of grace, and that unquenchable thirst for His righteousness which only Christ can satisfy. We ask this in the name of Jesus our Sun of Righteousness, in whom alone is salvation, that the Father's will may be done.
