Relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, and we thank you for coming before the Father in the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the throne of grace and it is only by His name that we are saved, as it is written in Acts 4:12 and John 14:6, and we rejoice that you have prayed so clearly in His name.

We agree with your burden for those who are bound by lies. Jesus Himself said in John 8:32 you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. We also cling to the promise in Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. Your prayer for a hunger that cannot be quenched except by Christ is deeply biblical, for apart from Him no heart can truly love truth or do justice.

We are humbled by your spirit in this request. You do not boast and you do not look down on others, recognizing that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God in Romans 3:23. Education, position, or knowledge of the law cannot make a person righteous, for righteousness comes only through a transformed heart. As you quoted from Psalm 51:17 My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. We join you in asking the Lord to do that very work, to give a new heart and a new spirit as promised in Ezekiel 36:26, to take away the heart of stone and give a heart of flesh that hates sin and loves what God loves.

We also lift up those you mentioned who are chosen and belong to Christ, that the precious blood of Jesus would cover them and keep them in perfect peace. We pray that the Lord would guard their minds and hearts in Christ Jesus as in Philippians 4:7, and give them understanding and compassion even in the midst of dishonest communication and disregard for life. We pray for all involved, including the team and the lawyers and legal representatives you mentioned, because God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth in 1 Timothy 2:4, and He is not willing that any should perish in 2 Peter 3:9.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You pour out Your Holy Spirit upon every person involved in this situation. Lord, expose every lie of the enemy and let Your truth shine brightly. Create in them clean hearts, O God, broken and contrite before You, that they may see their sin as You see it, repent, and turn from every evil way. Forgive their sins through the blood of Jesus, and teach them to walk in righteousness and compassion, to honor human life and to speak honestly. Stir in them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness that only You can satisfy. Cover Your people with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, give them wisdom and discernment, and let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We thank You that Your Holy Spirit intercedes for us according to Romans 8:26, and we trust You to work even when we cannot see. We exalt the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our only righteousness. Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in this intercession. The Lord hears the relentless prayers of His people and He is faithful to convict, to forgive, and to transform. Continue to pray that they would not merely know about the law, but would know the Lawgiver, and that their hearts would be led to true repentance and to a love for what is right and true in the sight of God.

Thank you for pouring out your heart here. We can hear the grief underneath your prayer, watching people trusted to uphold truth and protect life seem to set those things aside. That kind of disappointment cuts deep, and it makes sense you would bring it to the Lord so persistently.

We join you in asking God to work in the hearts of everyone involved on that team, their lawyers and representatives, that they would come to love honesty and value life as He does. We also hear your humility in this, not wanting to look down on them but simply longing for righteousness to take root. That posture matters, and God sees it.

One thing that has helped others carrying a similar burden is to keep praying faithfully while also asking God to guard your own heart from growing weary or hardened while you wait. You might set aside a regular time to lift this specific request, then intentionally place it back in His hands for the day, trusting His Spirit is interceding even when words run short.

Father, we bring this team and their counsel before You and ask You to stir in them a real hunger for what is true and right. Cover those who are Yours with Your peace and understanding, soften hearts that need softening, and help our friend here to rest in Your will being done. Give wisdom, compassion and honest communication to all involved. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is itself a work of grace, and we join our hearts with yours in it before the throne. It is well that you have taken up the words of Psalm 51, for there the Psalmist confesses, The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. Such a heart is not a sacrifice which we bring to make ourselves worthy, but a heart which the Holy Spirit Himself must break and make contrite, and this is the sacrifice which God will not despise.

You have prayed rightly that these souls, both the team of whom you speak and their lawyers and representatives, may come to hate sin as sin and not merely to fear its consequences. There is a carnal repentance which is of the flesh, a poor and short lived repentance which turns from sin for a season as a man may abstain from food to increase his appetite, and then returns to it with greater gusto. This the Lord abhors, for God is not mocked. The repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God gives God glory. It loathes sin because there is a deadly poison in its sweetness, it turns from present sin because of the love of God who died for us, and it looks at once to Jesus Christ set forth to be a propitiation for sin. Any repentance that keeps a soul from believing in Christ is a repentance that needs to be repented of, but that repentance which is consistent with faith in Christ, which weeps to think that our Saviour bled and our Sovereign died for us, this is repentance that needs not to be repented of.

We therefore pray with you that the Lord would work in these hearts not a superficial sorrow but that holy, healthy, heavenly repentance which endures and yields works meet for repentance. For you have observed truly that education and knowledge of the law cannot make a man righteous, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and the learned and the unlearned alike have need of the same Saviour. True repentance and remission of sins are not drawn up from the depths of our own heart as water from a well, but are gifts of Christ through belief of the truth as it is recorded in the Word of God. He lives to make intercession for transgressors and to give to sinners the Holy Spirit to work in them true belief and true repentance.

So we ask the Father in the name of Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, that He would cover with the precious blood of the atoning Sacrifice all who are His, and that He would grant to those yet bound by Satan's lies a broken and contrite heart, peace and understanding through the cross, and that hunger and thirst after righteousness which our Lord has pronounced blessed. May they be taught to love truth and to keep honest communication, to regard human life as made in the image of God, and to walk in compassion and righteousness not for reward or fear of judgment only, but because they have looked to Jesus and found pardon.

We will continue to plead that the Lord who is near unto them that are of a broken heart will stir these hearts indeed, that He who alone can strengthen the heart will do so, and that His will be done. May the Holy Spirit intercede according to the will of God, and may Christ be evidently set forth crucified among them, that many may receive Him and be given power to become the sons of God.
