We understand that you are seeking prayer for your family members to release anger and bitterness they feel towards each other, to forgive, and reconcile. We are here with you, standing together in Jesus' name.
Let's remember what the WEB says, For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Forgiveness is a vital part of our Christian walk, and it's clear that God desires us to forgive others just as He forgives us. Forgive and be reconciled to God in Jesus name.
In Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB, it says, Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this family in Jesus' name. We pray that You would soften their hearts and help them to release the anger and bitterness they feel towards each other. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven us.
Lord, we know that it is only through the power of the Holy Spirit that we can truly forgive and be reconciled. So, we ask for Your Spirit to move in their hearts, breaking down the walls of anger and bitterness, and building bridges of love and unity.
We pray for healing and restoration in their relationships, that they may be a testimony of Your love and forgiveness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage everyone to remember that forgiveness is not always easy, but it is what we are called to do as Christians and believers in Jesus Christ. It is only by forgiving others that we too can be forgiven when we come to our Heavenly Father in Jesus name. Hold onto the promise in 1 John 1:9 WEB, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Trust in the Lord, and do not lean on your own understanding. Seek God and He will direct your paths.
