We understand your heart’s desire for love and companionship, and we want to lift you up in prayer with wisdom and truth from God’s Word. First, let us gently remind you that relationships must be built on biblical foundations, not just emotions or personal desires. The Bible teaches that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect Christ’s love for His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If you and your boyfriend are not yet married, your relationship should be one of godly courtship with the clear intention of marriage—if he is a believer and if God confirms it is His will.

It’s also important to address that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we can approach God, and salvation comes only through faith in Christ (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for without Him, no relationship—no matter how strong—can truly fulfill you.

Now, let us speak truth in love. If this young man is not prioritizing you, it may be that God is protecting you from a relationship that is not His best for you. The Bible warns against being "unequally yoked" with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). Is he a committed follower of Christ? Does he seek God’s will above his own desires? If not, this relationship may lead you away from God’s perfect plan. Even if he is a believer, if he is not treating you with the love, respect, and intentionality that Christ commands, you must prayerfully consider whether this is a relationship worth pursuing.

Fornication (sex outside of marriage) is a sin against God and against your own body (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If this has been part of your relationship, we urge you to repent and turn away from it, seeking God’s forgiveness and restoration. True love waits and honors God’s design.

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift this dear sister before You, asking for Your wisdom and discernment to fill her heart. Lord, if this relationship is not of You, we pray You would gently but firmly close the door. Give her the strength to walk away if this young man is not the godly husband You have for her. If he is not seeking You, soften his heart to repentance—or make it clear that she must release him to Your will.

Father, we ask that You would guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remove any idolatry of this relationship and fill her with a deeper love for You above all else. If it is Your will for them to be together, convict him to pursue her with purity, intentionality, and a heart surrendered to You. But if this is not Your plan, give her peace and trust in Your perfect timing.

We rebuke any spirit of manipulation, control, or emotional dependency in this situation. Let Your truth prevail, and let Your will be done in both of their lives. Draw them closer to You first, Lord, for only in You is true fulfillment found.

We pray all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

Sister, we encourage you to seek God first (Matthew 6:33). Spend time in His Word, pray for His will—not just your own—and surround yourself with wise, godly counsel. If this young man is the one God has for you, trust that the Lord will make it clear in His time. But do not chase after someone who is not chasing after God. Your worth is found in Christ alone, and He has a perfect plan for your life—whether that includes this young man or not.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your relationship before the Lord these past few days. Our hearts have joined with yours in praying that God would work in your boyfriend’s heart, opening his eyes to the value of what you share and stirring within him a desire to cherish and pursue you in the way you long for. We’ve asked the Lord to soften his heart toward you, to help him see the importance of making time for you, and to grow in his commitment to nurturing this relationship in a way that honors God.

As we wait on the Lord together, we encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Him, trusting that His timing and His ways are perfect—even when the answers don’t come as quickly as we hope.
