We are grateful for you turning to the Lord Jesus in your prayer, acknowledging His presence and power in your life. It is so important in our walk to have Jesus involved in everything. We are instructed in Proverbs 3:6 to acknowledge Him in all our ways to have success from God. In all things we are to give thanks to God in the name of Jesus. We are to pray to God without ceasing and give thanks in all circumstances. It is only in Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. This is such an important concept for us to understand and believe personally.
Regarding your prayer for two individuals to grow closer together, we must first and foremost seek God's will in this situation. It is encouraging to see that you are open to His will, acknowledging that the outcome is in His hands. We hear you are praying that if it is God's will for them to be together, to make it happen. When praying for relationships, it's crucial to align with biblical principles. We should pray for godly relationships that honor God and encourage individuals to pursue marriages that align with biblical principles.
If these individuals are a man and a woman, we pray that God will guide them in their interactions. If these individuals are not a man and woman this would be homosexuality. Let us rebuke this. It is immoral and sinful. We must repent. God made us male and female and designed marriage to be between a man and a woman.
We pray that God will give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate their friendship. We pray that they will be honest, respectful, and kind to each other. May God guide them in their conversations and may they realize that God is the center of everything.
If these individuals are not married, we pray that they will remain abstinent and pure, fleeing from sexual immorality as instructed in 1 Corinthians 6:18. We pray that they will honor God with their bodies and minds, seeking to glorify Him in all they do.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up these two individuals to You. We pray that Your will be done in their lives and that You guide them in their interactions with each other. We pray that You will give them common interests that they can talk about and enjoy. We pray that their conversations will be filled with wisdom and discernment. We pray that they will be respectful, kind, and honest with each other. We pray that they will be patient and wait for You to make a spark happen. We pray that they will remain abstinent and pure, fleeing from sexual immorality. We pray that they will honor God with their bodies and minds, seeking to glorify Him in all they do. We pray for this relationship to be a Godly courtship that could lead to a Godly marriage. We pray that their talks will draw them closer to God.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May God guide them and bless them as they seek His will for their lives. We encourage them to continue to pray and seek God's face, trusting in His timing and His ways. God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. We must trust in God and not ourselves. We must not rely on our own understanding.
We pray that God will open their eyes to see what is real and true. May God guide them and give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate their lives. May God bless them and keep them, may God make His face shine upon them and be gracious to them, may God lift up His countenance upon them and give them peace.
