We are grateful for your request and the opportunity to pray with you and offer biblical guidance. We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will be glorified in your life and in this situation.
Firstly, we notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Therefore, we pray this in Jesus' name and encourage you to do the same.
Let's pray for your long-term relationship:
Almighty one true God, our Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul seeking restoration and healing in their long-term relationship. We stand in agreement, and we plead the blood of Jesus Christ over this relationship. We rebuke any plan of the enemy to kill, steal, or destroy, and we cancel every assignment of darkness in Jesus' name.
Father, we ask You to reopen the lines of communication between them. Let their words be seasoned with salt, being gracious and filled with loving-kindness. We pray for godly counsel that would bring healing, honesty, and reconciliation.
We pray, Father, that You will reveal Your will for this couple. We know that it is not Your will for anyone to be yoked with an unbeliever. Therefore, we pray that both individuals in this relationship are committed followers of Jesus Christ. If they are not, we pray for a revelation of the truth of the Gospel and a turning to faith in Jesus Christ.
We also pray that You will prepare the way for a godly marriage, as this aligns with Your will and Your Word. We ask that You will be at the center of this relationship, guiding and leading them in Your truth.
Lord, we ask for Your grace and glory to be revealed in and through them. Let Your will be done in their lives and in this relationship.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage both individuals to remain sexually pure, abstaining from any immoral behavior, as this is God's will for each one of us. Remember, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality," 1 Thessalonians 4:3 WEB.
Also, we encourage you to "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Lastly, always remember that "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28 WEB.
Stand firm in your faith, and always be ready to share the hope that is in you. If you find that the other person is not a believer, then it is important to share the Gospel with them and pray for their salvation. Remember, "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
