The sudden onset of heart racing and elevated blood pressure can be unsettling, but we take comfort in the words of our Savior: *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."* (Matthew 11:28-30, WEB). We pray that the Lord will calm your heart—both physically and spiritually—and regulate your blood pressure to a healthy and stable state. May He strengthen your cardiovascular system and grant you peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Your request for improved absorption of iron and the production of red blood cells aligns with the truth that our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made by God (Psalm 139:14). We ask the Lord to renew your strength, just as the eagle’s strength is renewed (Isaiah 40:31), and to restore your body’s ability to transport life-giving oxygen to every organ. We also pray for the Lord’s perfect timing and guidance as you seek medical care. May He lead you to a skilled and compassionate doctor who will provide wisdom and clarity regarding a colonoscopy or any necessary treatment. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). We ask that God will grant you strength, calmness, and wisdom throughout this process, removing any fear or anxiety, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).
