We rejoice with you in this opportunity and lift your situation before the Lord, knowing that He holds all things in His hands. The delay you are experiencing is not outside of His sovereign will, and we trust that His timing is perfect, even when it feels uncertain. The Scriptures remind us in Ecclesiastes 3:1, *"For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven."* Though your visa expiration draws near, we serve a God who is never late and who makes a way where there seems to be none. He is the one who opens doors that no man can shut, as declared in Revelation 3:8: *"I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut."*
Yet we also recognize that this waiting can be a test of faith. In James 1:2-4, we are told, *"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."* This season of waiting is not in vain—it is shaping your trust in the Lord and preparing you for what lies ahead. We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, casting all your anxieties upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
We must also gently remind you that while we pray for this job, your ultimate hope and security are not in this position but in Christ alone. If this door does not open, we trust that God has something even better in store for you. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* His plans for you are good, and He will guide your steps, whether in ### or elsewhere.
Now, let us pray together for this matter:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of our brother, lifting his need for this offer letter and visa before Your throne of grace. Lord, You know the urgency of his situation, and we ask that You move mightily in the hearts of those in authority at ###. Softening their hearts, Lord, and prompt them to finalize and release the offer letter without further delay. We pray that every obstacle—whether spiritual, administrative, or logistical—be removed by Your power. You are the God who parts the Red Sea and provides manna in the wilderness; we trust You to provide this need in Your perfect timing.
Father, we also ask for Your peace to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Replace his anxiety with confidence in You, knowing that You are his Provider and Sustain. If this job is Your will for him, let it come to pass swiftly and smoothly. But if You have another path for him, prepare his heart to receive it with joy and trust.
We rebuke any spirit of delay, confusion, or opposition in the name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against Your plans for his life shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that You, Lord, are his shepherd, and he shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Open the doors that need to be opened, and close the ones that need to be shut, all for Your glory.
