We join you in bringing this frustration before the Lord, and we understand how discouraging it can be when resources that are needed for learning are not provided, especially when you see that funds have been raised and important tools like the reading app have been taken away and a broken microphone has not been replaced.
We are reminded that God cares about stewardship and about those in authority using what has been entrusted to them wisely. Colossians 3:23 says, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men. And Proverbs 21:1 says, The kings heart is in Yahwehs hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires. We take comfort that God can guide the hearts and decisions of those who make budget choices at your school site. Romans 13:1 also reminds us, Let every person be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God, so we are called to respect those in leadership even as we pray for them to act with wisdom and integrity.
We also want to gently encourage you not to let this situation grow into bitterness or anger, but to bring your concerns to God and to those in authority with grace and truth. Philippians 4:6 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. James 1:5 says, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We pray that wisdom will be given to you as you communicate this need and to the decision makers as they consider it.
We pray together now.
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus and lift up this school and its leadership to You. Lord, You see the need for this microphone and for the reading resources that help students learn. We ask that You give wisdom and a spirit of good stewardship to those who manage the budget, that they would prioritize what is truly needed for the students and staff and do what is right and fair. We pray that if it is Your will, the microphone would be replaced quickly and that provision would be made for the tools that support learning. Help our friend to speak about this need with patience, respect, and clarity, and guard their heart from frustration. Let Your peace rule, and let this situation be used for good and for Your glory. We ask for Your will to be done in this school.
We also noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to share how important that is to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ, to believe that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is through Him that we can come boldly to God with every need, including this one, and find grace and help.
We encourage you to continue to pray and to make your request known in a respectful way to those who can help, trusting that God is at work even in small matters like this. We stand with you in prayer that the right decision will be made soon and that God will be honored in how it is handled.
