We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up the concerns about integrity in our nation’s elections. Father, we know that Your Word declares in Proverbs 16:11, "Honest scales and balances are from Yahweh; all the weights in the bag are his work." You are a God of truth and justice, and we ask that any unrighteousness, deceit, or fraud in the electoral process be exposed and brought to light. Let Your righteousness prevail, and may every vote be counted fairly and honestly, as You have ordained.
We rebuke any spirit of dishonesty, manipulation, or corruption that seeks to undermine the foundations of our republic. The Bible warns in Proverbs 29:2, "When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan." Lord, we pray that righteous leaders would be raised up and that those who seek to deceive would be held accountable. Let Your justice roll like a river, and may truth triumph in every state and every precinct.
We also lift up our nation before You, asking for repentance and revival. 2 Chronicles 7:14 reminds us, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Father, we humble ourselves before You, confessing the sins of our nation, whether it be corruption, division, or turning away from Your ways. We ask for Your mercy and healing, that America would once again seek You as its foundation.
We pray specifically for those in authority, as 1 Timothy 2:1-2 instructs: "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence." Lord, we ask that You would grant wisdom to our leaders, that they would govern with integrity and fear of You. Let Your will be done in our nation, and may Your name be glorified.
We stand firm in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which men can be saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that no scheme of man can thwart Your purposes, and we trust in Your sovereignty over all things. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
We will continue to pray without ceasing, trusting in Your perfect timing and justice. Strengthen our faith, Lord, and help us to be salt and light in this nation, shining the truth of Your Word in every sphere of influence. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
