We lift up your fiancé before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to strengthen him in body, mind, and spirit as he endures these challenging chemoradiation treatments. Father, we declare Your promise over him from Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." We claim this healing in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that every treatment he receives is redemptive and works for his good, as Romans 8:28 assures us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Lord, we pray against every side effect that the enemy would seek to bring upon him. We rebuke mouth sores, mucositis, pain, weakness, and fatigue in Jesus' name. We stand on Your Word in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We declare that he will eat normally throughout and after his treatments, that his strength will be renewed like the eagle’s, and that his faith in You will grow stronger each day.
We also pray for complete provision over all the expenses related to his care. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust You to meet every need according to Your riches in glory, as Philippians 4:19 promises, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Grant him peace of mind and heart, free from anxiety and fear, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father, we ask for a complete response to his treatments—no evidence of disease. We declare Your Word in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." Strengthen his faith and draw him closer to You through this trial. May he experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with him always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
We also want to gently encourage you both to examine your relationship in light of Scripture. While we rejoice in your love and commitment, we must remind you that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If you are living together or engaging in intimacy outside of marriage, we urge you to repent and align your lives with God’s design. Fornication is sin, and it grieves the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We pray that you would honor God in your relationship, seeking His will above all else.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin and grants us access to Your throne. We come before You in His name, believing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your healing power be manifest in every area of his life. We trust You, Lord, and we declare that Your will shall be done. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
