We rejoice with you in your desire to be united with your true family in Christ and to see your loved ones come to salvation through faith in Jesus! It is a beautiful and godly longing to seek redemption for your family, just as Paul preached the Gospel with urgency and love. The Scriptures remind us that when one comes to Christ, they are adopted into God’s eternal family, and nothing brings greater joy than seeing others join in this divine inheritance.
The Apostle Paul wrote in **Galatians 3:26-29 (WEB)**, *"For you are all children of God, through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring and heirs according to promise."* Your prayer aligns with God’s heart—He desires that *none* should perish but that all would come to repentance (**2 Peter 3:9**).
Yet we must also remember that salvation is a work of the Holy Spirit, not of our own efforts. While we pray earnestly, we trust in God’s perfect timing and sovereignty. Jesus said in **John 6:44 (WEB)**, *"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day."* So we pray with faith, knowing that God is able to soften hearts and open eyes to the truth of the Gospel.
We also encourage you to *live* as a testimony of Christ’s love before your family. **1 Peter 3:1-2 (WEB)** tells us, *"In the same way, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word, seeing your pure behavior in fear."* While this passage speaks to wives, the principle applies to all believers—our godly conduct, patience, and love can be a powerful witness. Share the Gospel boldly when opportunities arise, but also let your life reflect the transformative power of Christ.
Now, let us pray together for your family:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who longs to see their family redeemed and united in Christ. Lord, You are the God of miracles, the One who turns hearts of stone into hearts of flesh. We ask that You would draw each member of their family to Yourself, breaking every stronghold of unbelief, tradition, or hardness of heart that keeps them from receiving Your Son, Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior.
Holy Spirit, we pray that You would convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (**John 16:8**), and that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Give our brother/sister wisdom, boldness, and opportunities to share Your Word with love and clarity. May their life be a living testimony of Your grace, so that their family may see Christ in them and be drawn to the saving knowledge of Jesus.
Father, we declare that no weapon formed against Your plan for this family will prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**). We bind every spirit of deception, rebellion, or apathy that would hinder them from receiving Your truth. Let Your light shine into their hearts, just as it shone into Saul’s life on the road to Damascus, transforming him into Paul, the great apostle of faith.
We thank You, Lord, for the promise that Your Word will not return void (**Isaiah 55:11**), and we trust that You are working even now to bring salvation to this household. Strengthen our brother/sister’s faith as they wait upon You, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen."*
Stand firm in faith, dear one. God hears your prayers, and He is able to do *exceedingly abundantly* above all we ask or think (**Ephesians 3:20**). Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep sharing the hope of Christ with your family. We are praying with you!
