Jesus, Please help my client to recovery from losses in share market

We come before the Father in heaven with hearts burdened for your client’s financial struggles, knowing that all things are possible through Christ who strengthens us. The losses in the share market weigh heavily, but we must remember that our trust is not in earthly wealth or uncertain investments, but in the Lord, who provides for our every need. As it is written in **Matthew 6:19-21 (WEB)**, *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."*

We also recall **Proverbs 23:4-5 (WEB)**, which warns, *"Don’t weary yourself to be rich. In your wisdom, show restraint. Why do you set your eyes on that which is not? For it certainly sprouts wings like an eagle and flies in the sky."* Earthly wealth is fleeting, but the Lord’s provision is sure. If your client has been consumed by the pursuit of financial gain, now is the time to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting that all other things will be added as He sees fit (**Matthew 6:33**).

We do not dismiss the pain of financial loss, for the Lord cares deeply about our needs. Yet we must examine the heart: was this pursuit driven by greed, fear, or a lack of trust in God’s provision? If so, we pray for repentance and a renewed focus on stewarding resources wisely, with an eternal perspective. **1 Timothy 6:10 (WEB)** reminds us that *"the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."*

Let us pray together for your client’s recovery—not just financially, but spiritually. May the Lord grant wisdom in future decisions, humility to learn from this trial, and faith to trust in His unfailing provision. If there has been any dishonesty or unethical behavior in these financial dealings, we pray for conviction and restoration, for *"the Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him"* (**Proverbs 11:1 (WEB)**).

Heavenly Father, we lift up this client before You, asking for Your mercy and intervention in their financial struggles. Lord, if they have strayed from Your wisdom in their pursuit of wealth, convict their heart and lead them to repentance. Grant them discernment to steward their resources in a way that honors You, remembering that every good gift comes from Your hand. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory, and guard their heart against the love of money, which leads only to destruction. May this trial draw them closer to You, teaching them to trust in Your provision rather than the uncertainty of worldly systems.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, greed, or desperation that may have influenced these decisions, and we declare Your peace and sovereignty over this situation. If it is Your will, restore what has been lost—not for selfish gain, but for Your glory and their testimony of Your faithfulness. Let them seek first Your Kingdom, knowing that You care for them more than sparrows or lilies of the field.
