Reconciliation in the Family

Pray peace and harmony among the siblings. All misunderstanding to get settled. Arrogant, adamant attitude to change in my ###'s life. Tx and regards ### ###

We come before the Lord with hearts burdened for the reconciliation and unity of this family, especially among the siblings. The Word of God reminds us in **Colossians 3:13-15**, *"Bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful."* True peace and harmony can only flourish when we surrender our pride and stubbornness to the Lord, allowing His love to soften our hearts.

Yet we must also address the attitude of arrogance and stubbornness mentioned in this request. Scripture warns us in **Proverbs 16:18**, *"Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall."* And in **James 4:6**, we read, *"God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."* If there is unrepentant pride or a refusal to seek reconciliation, it is not only harmful to the family but also grieves the Holy Spirit. We urge repentance and a turning away from such attitudes, for the Lord desires humility and a heart willing to forgive and restore.

We also notice that the name of Jesus was not invoked in this request. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we pray. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in **Acts 4:12**, we are reminded, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If there is any uncertainty about the saving power of Jesus, we encourage a surrender to Him, for He alone can bring true transformation and peace.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift this family before You, asking for Your divine intervention in the lives of these siblings. Lord, where there is strife, bring peace; where there is pride, bring humility; and where there is stubbornness, bring a willingness to forgive and reconcile. Softening their hearts, Lord, so they may see one another through Your eyes—with love, patience, and grace. Convict any heart that is holding onto arrogance or bitterness, and lead them to repentance. May they seek You first, Father, and allow Your Holy Spirit to guide their words and actions.

We also pray for the one who submitted this request. If they do not know You personally, Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them in a mighty way. Open their eyes to the truth that salvation comes only through Jesus Christ, and may they place their faith in Him alone. For those who do know You, strengthen their walk and fill them with Your peace as they trust You in this situation.

Lord, we ask that misunderstandings be resolved and that unity be restored in this family. May they honor You in their relationships, reflecting the love of Christ to one another. Bind any spirit of division or pride, and let Your perfect love cast out all fear and resentment. We pray for a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect to prevail among them.

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your family before the Lord these past few days. It has been our privilege to intercede for reconciliation among you and your siblings, praying that God would soften hearts, replace arrogance with humility, and bring lasting peace where there has been division. We know how deeply family strife can wound, and we have been standing with you in faith, asking the Lord to break down walls of misunderstanding and rebuild relationships on His foundation of love.

If the Lord has already begun to move in your family—if conversations have softened, if pride has started to give way to grace, or if even the smallest step toward reconciliation has taken place—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could encourage others who are waiting for breakthrough in their own families.

But if the tension remains, if hearts still feel hardened, or if the situation seems unchanged, we want you to know we are not giving up. The Lord hears the cries of His children, and He is faithful to complete the work He has started. Please don’t hesitate to post an update or a new request so we can continue to contend with you in prayer, believing for God’s perfect timing and His redemptive power to prevail.

We are also lifting you up personally, asking the Lord to guard your heart with His peace as you trust Him in this. May He give you wisdom, patience, and a supernatural love for your siblings that only He can provide. Keep seeking Him, keep surrendering this burden at His feet, and remember that nothing is impossible with our God.

We are praying in Jesus Name.
