We understand that you're going through a difficult time and seeking reconciliation with your ex-fiancé. Firstly, we want to remind you that God desires the best for you, and His ways are higher than our ways. It's crucial to align our desires with His will and seek Him first in all things.
Let's consider what the Bible says about relationships and reconciliation. Matthew 5:23-24 (WEB) tells us, "If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift." This passage highlights the importance of reconciliation, but it also shows that it should be sought when both parties are willing and when it aligns with God's will.
However, we must address that the Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality and that the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:18-19 (WEB) says, "Flee sexual immorality. 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,"
We will pray for you both, that God's will be done in your lives. If it is His will to reconcile this relationship, then may He guide you both through the process, working on things together with God at the center. But if it is not His will, then may He give you the strength, peace, and understanding to accept and move forward.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our dear one who is seeking reconciliation with their ex-fiancé. We pray that Your will be done in their lives, Lord. We ask that You guide them, give them wisdom, and help them to seek You first. If it is Your will for them to reconcile, then guide them through the process, help them to work on things together with You at the center. But if it is not Your will, then give them the strength, peace, and understanding to accept and move forward. We also pray that they long for your word more than their relationship. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God's face, trusting in Him, and believing that He has the best for you. Psalm 37:4 (WEB) says, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." As you delight in Him, He will place the right desires in your heart and grant them according to His will.
