We come before the throne of grace with hearts heavy for the concerns you’ve shared, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father and the only name by which we are saved. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today—confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and surrender your life to Him. Without this, we cannot stand in the authority of His name, nor can we expect His protection and provision.
Father God, we first rebuke every disease, sickness, and affliction that has been sent against this family. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we command every spirit of infirmity to flee in the name of Jesus. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand against every demonic assignment, every plot of the enemy to bring harm, financial strain, or fear. We cover this family and their loved ones with the precious blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we also lift up the practical concerns regarding the repairs that need to be done in their home and vehicle. We ask that You send honest, skilled, and God-fearing workers who will honor their word and provide quality service at a fair cost. Father, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17), and we trust that You will provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We rebuke any spirit of deception, dishonesty, or greed that may try to take advantage of this family. We pray that the workers who come will be led by integrity and that the repairs will be done correctly and swiftly. Give this family wisdom to discern the right course of action and the courage to hold others accountable if they fall short of their promises.
We also address the fear and anxiety that may be creeping into their hearts. The enemy wants to paralyze us with worry, but You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this family will not be overwhelmed by their circumstances. Instead, they will cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Remind them daily that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let them find peace in Your presence, knowing that You are in control.
Father, we ask that You would go before this family in every interaction they have with those who come to help them. Let Your angels encamp around them, protecting them from any harm or deceit (Psalm 34:7). We pray that the repairs would be completed without incident and that this family would be able to rest in the assurance of Your provision. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in every detail of their lives.
We also take a moment to pray for their spiritual protection. The enemy is cunning and will use even the smallest openings to bring division, doubt, or despair. We ask that You would fortify their hearts with Your Word, that they would meditate on it day and night, and that it would be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Let them be rooted and grounded in love, able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width, length, height, and depth of Your love (Ephesians 3:17-19). May they walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, bearing fruit in every season of their lives.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this time of waiting and trusting as an opportunity for this family to draw closer to You. Let them see Your faithfulness in the small things so that their faith may grow. May they be a light to those around them, showing the world what it means to trust in You even in the midst of uncertainty. We declare that this season will not break them but will refine them, making them stronger in You.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
