We come before the Lord with your request, lifting up your heartfelt desires to Him. First, we rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father. "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the throne of grace, and we are grateful that you have acknowledged this truth.
Father God, we lift up [###] to You, asking that You would grant them the strength, wisdom, and perseverance to accomplish all that You have set before them. We pray that You would remove the obstacles and troubles that seem to hinder their progress. Your Word tells us, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to walk in Your strength and not their own. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding, acknowledging You in all their ways so that You may direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We also bring before You their marriage, Lord. We pray for unity, love, and understanding between them and their spouse. Your Word tells us that marriage is a sacred covenant, a reflection of Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We ask that You would soften their spouse’s heart and open their eyes to see things from Your perspective. Help them to remember what they may have forgotten, Lord, and to recall the vows they made before You. We pray that You would restore any broken communication, heal any wounds, and strengthen their bond as husband and wife.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of division, strife, or misunderstanding that may be attempting to come between them. We declare that their marriage is founded on You, and we stand against the enemy’s schemes to destroy what You have joined together (Matthew 19:6). We pray that You would fill their home with Your peace, joy, and love, and that their marriage would be a testimony to Your goodness and faithfulness.
Lord, we also ask that You would help them to prioritize their relationship with You above all else. Remind them that their first commitment is to You, and that a strong marriage is built on two individuals who are both seeking You wholeheartedly. "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33). Help them to encourage one another in their faith, to pray together, and to grow closer to You as a couple.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, knowing that He is our intercessor and that nothing is impossible for You. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified through their marriage and their accomplishments. Amen.
