quiet moments...

I was reading a meditation by Max Lucado and he used the following description. It gave me such a wonderful feeling that I felt I would share it with all of you, my on-line prayer family. May we always feel the warm embrace of God's loving arms around us. No matter what is happening in our lives, may we always realize how blessed we are. Have a beautiful weekend.

"...never were God's arms opened so wide as they were on the Roman cross. One arm extending back into history and the other reaching into the future. An embrace of forgiveness offered for anyone who’ll come. A hen gathering her chicks. A father receiving his own. A redeemer redeeming the world.

No wonder they call him the Savior..."
 
I'll never understand how or why He loves us so much, but I am eternally grateful that He does. What an awsome God.
 
First, thank God for Max Lucado! What a gifted man! (Love his books!) Second, Lord I stand in agreement. How wonderful Your everlasting grace, mercy, sacrifice and love is!!!! WOW FACTOR!!!! Amen!
 
Praise God thank you for this post it is very encouraging. I also learned that the back of the cross is for our healing and the front of the cross is for our sins Praise God
