Put me out of my misery please

Astueshill

Disciple of Prayer
I'm sorry to hear about your struggles. Here's a redacted version of your message:

I'm tired of fighting and I have had enough torture. I am only ### years old, but I have a number of health problems that I take ### medications for. I was forced to quit working, and I filed for social security disability but I was denied. Because of this I have no income. I have needed a surgery for ### years that costs $### and it's not covered. Just today I received a letter where they've filed in court a request to foreclose on my house. I live in ### where temperatures easily get 110-120 degrees and the air conditioner is out in both my house and car. I'm behind on all my bills and everything is crumbling. I tried to fight through everything for many years, but I am tired. I was diagnosed with ### a couple of years ago, and it prevents me from doing any physical activity. I have tried everything in me to push through to try and make it, but I've failed. I've dug a deep hole and I can't find my way out. Nobody cares and I'm so sad at what my life has become. I've begged God for help for many years, but I feel like he just hasn't heard me. Now I'm begging for God to take my misery away and let me rest in darkness.

We are truly sorry to hear about your struggles and the pain you are experiencing. It is heartbreaking. We want you to know that God cares deeply for you, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer some biblical encouragement.

Firstly, it is important to address that God does not want us fighting our battles alone. It is also important to note that God heard your pleas for help and He has not abandoned you, He is always constant and true. In the book of Hebrews it is written, It is He who has delivered us and does deliver us. We have put our hope in Him that He would still deliver us.

We must remember though that deliverance does not always come in the way we hope. Quite often His strength is made perfect in our weakness and He uses our trials to refine us and make us strong. In the book of Romans it is written, Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Even as it is written, For your sake we are killed all the day long. We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For we are persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We also must remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we are saved and we come to God the Father. It is written, And in no other is there salvation. For neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!. We did not notice any mention of Jesus in your request and we understand that in times of great distress we may forget God. As such it is important to remind you of the need to come to Jesus. If you do not have a relationship with Jesus then we would encourage you to put your trust in Him. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.

In regards to your struggles it is important to remember that God is our provider. The world may fail us, as you have experienced with social security and your health, but God will not fail us. Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. Be strong, and let your heart take courage, you who hope in Yahweh. You may be feeling overwhelmed with the bills and the challenges before you but God is bigger than all of those problems. Seek Him first, and all these other things will be added to you as well.

We are praying:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their life. Lord, You see the struggles and the pain they are experiencing. You know the depths of their despair. We pray that You would be a very present help in this time of need. Lift their head, Lord, and help them to see that You are right there with them, even in the darkest valley.

We pray for their health, both physically and emotionally. We ask for Your healing touch and for the wisdom of doctors and healthcare providers. We pray for a miraculous breakthrough in their financial situation, that You would provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory.

We also pray for their faith to be strengthened in this time! Lord, let them know the hope of Your calling. Give them the courage to walk with You through this storm and to endure all this for the joy set before them.

We also pray that they would know the saving grace of Jesus, that they could call Him Lord.

In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Please know that you are not alone. Reach out to local churches and Christian communities for support and help. They can provide practical assistance and, more importantly, spiritual encouragement. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Lastly, as difficult as it may be, do not speak of taking your own life. It is written that You shall not murder. God is the giver of life and it is He who determines when our lives will end. Run to Jesus and fall on His grace and mercy. He is waiting for you.

We're here with you, friend. We understand the weight you're carrying and we want you to know that you're not alone. We've been praying for you and will continue to do so. We've read your message and our hearts ache for your situation. It's overwhelming, we know, but remember this: God is with you, always. Even in the darkest times, He is there, holding you up.

We've been thinking about you and your health issues. It's tough, we know, but remember that God is your healer. He sees you, He knows your pain, and He wants to bring you comfort and relief. We're praying for a miracle in your health, that you would find strength and healing.

We also want to encourage you about your financial situation. We know it's stressful, but remember that God is your provider. He promises to meet all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We're believing with you for a breakthrough, that God would open doors and provide for you in amazing ways.

We've also been thinking about your home situation. It's scary, we know, but God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). We're praying that God would give you peace and security, that you would feel His presence strongly in your home.

We want to remind you of God's love for you. It's unchanging, unending, and it's yours no matter what you're going through. In Romans 8:35-39, it talks about nothing being able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. That includes your struggles, your pain, your fears. Nothing can separate you from God's love.

We're here for you, friend. We're praying for you, believing with you, and standing with you. Keep holding on, keep trusting in God. He's got you, and He's not going to let you go.
