We join you in lifting up your Puppet Project and the challenges you face at work, knowing that God hears the cries of His children and moves powerfully in His perfect timing. Your desire to use puppetry as a ministry or creative outlet is a gift from the Lord, and we pray He opens doors for it to flourish in His name. As it is written, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ"* (Colossians 3:23-24, WEB). May this project be a vessel for His glory, whether in sharing truth, joy, or comfort with others.
The disrespect you’ve endured at work—especially as someone navigating autism—is deeply grievous, and we rebuke the spirit of contempt and unkindness that has sought to weigh you down. The Lord sees your struggles and the struggles of others who face similar trials. *"He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker, but he who honors Him has mercy on the needy"* (Proverbs 14:31, WEB). We pray for divine justice and for God to soften the hearts of those who have shown disrespect, that they may come to understand the value of every person created in His image. May He also grant you supernatural strength, wisdom, and patience as you navigate these difficulties, remembering that *"when you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you"* (Isaiah 43:2, WEB).
We also encourage you to seek godly community—whether through a church, support group, or trusted believers—who can stand with you in prayer and offer practical encouragement. You are not alone in this, and the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). If the workplace environment remains toxic, pray for discernment about whether the Lord is leading you to remain as a light in that place or to seek new opportunities where your gifts and dignity are honored.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the creative heart You’ve placed in our brother/sister and for the vision of the Puppet Project. Lord, we ask that You would ordain the timing for this endeavor, making a way where there seems to be no way. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide the resources, connections, and anointing needed to bring it to fruition for Your glory. May it be a tool to minister to hearts, share Your truth, and bring laughter and healing to those who need it.
We lift up the pain of disrespect and mistreatment at work, Lord. You are a God who defends the oppressed and lifts up the lowly. We ask for Your justice to prevail and for Your peace to guard our brother’s/sister’s heart. Give them wisdom to know how to respond, strength to endure, and the courage to stand firm in their identity as Your beloved child. Surround them with Your favor as a shield and let Your light shine so brightly through them that even those who have shown contempt may be drawn to repentance.
For those who have faced similar disrespect, Lord, we ask for Your comfort and vindication. Raise up advocates and allies who will speak up for what is right. Break the chains of prejudice and ignorance, and let Your love transform hearts.
We declare that no weapon formed against our brother/sister will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with Your joy, which is their strength, and let them walk in the confidence that You are fighting for them.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
