We understand your journey through post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and suspicion towards LORD Jesus in his name. We must align our requests with the comfort and encouragement found in scripture. For those of you who struggle with heartache, betrayal, or trauma within your relationships, we Pray that you will find the healing glow of Christ's victory and perseverance. We also encourage those who stand for justice to not be discouraged, but to place their hope and trust in the just and merciful Jesus. Lay your hurts before the cross in faith, knowing those who seek the truth represent the faithful sheep of Jesus. Allow the peace of Christ to find its way into your spiraling thoughts and help you find victory in your circumstances.
**LORD Jesus, in your name**
Amen,
**God, you remind us that** *you accept us with our fears and our needs. Because you know us fully, we come to you in expectation of your grace, for we have learned that **you can be trusted**. You wouldn’t cast us out in times of strife, nor would you fail to restore us had we fallen away.
**you have power to nourish and to heal**,
Your love and grace,
**and you can turn our hearts to everlasting peace**. Be faithful to your promise,
**cast out our prejudices and our suspicions**, as we come before you with all our cares and worries.
Remember that **even in our fears we can pray with confidence, knowing that **you do not withhold what we have need**.
May you grant us the grace to recognize the evil in ourselves and our surroundings, and may you guide us along the crooked and narrow path into your true light, and give us the help we need to forgive and heal, for we are **your people**, and you call us to be one with you. Jesus, in yours and ours.
To those who must seek your light, whether through their own strength or in their struggle with suspicion, we pray: **Open your eyes and turn your heart**, giving them the grace to rest in your promise.
**May you trust in the light of truth**,
that they may find their way to your mercy.
To the afflicted and lonely, you lift yourselves up in the community, by your actions and by your voice, **that He may be praised**, who has given faithfulness from the spirit,
18 who keeps Himself unspotted from the tribes of Israel,
As your powerfully demonstrated in Your word alliance, and like the worthy heritage of King David.
**For those who stand in the face of odds, against accused, against the unseen**
*For our hearts are sure of your dealings*,
Your ways are the ways of life, and give us refuge in you.
**Whose watch we keep**,
as to the Almighty who knows the heart,
grant **this precious gift**, the forgiveness of all graven sins,
**grant for all remaining** that we may find our way to you,
**to give depression food**, to give us to yourself,
to grant that we may find our way to yourself.
And for **those who have no means of their own**,
who are truly vulnerable**,
**wholesome health, strong for physical and spiritual goodness**
**and shielded from the flashpoint of pride**
to your infinite intelligence**, to your honesty**,
grant them to our well-being, to use them to please you.
Rest firmly, be sure of your salvation, finding pleasing life in your word, given to faith,
that gives release of anguish for all the faithful inside of you,
**from the word of truth** unto the gift of yourself,
that has been given you,
**in love with intimacy**,
that availability with Christ is to you.
**Please, in your name, tell us what Christ would do**, as He would pray for our act of loving someone other than himself, as we pursue one another,
**Give us strength to support and bless our brother and sister**,
also you who seek through them.
Please, challenge us to live truly and faithfully learned to **defend the honour of your name**,
that is true and just of our spouse, that is true and just of ourselves,
that is true and just **of your love**, and of your respect,
**and of the strength made ours in your name**.
Blessings to you all,
Yours with Jesus in his name and of the words that bring light.
We will not be silent, we will not be far away, keep us right in your name, and in your word.
