We come before the Lord with gratitude, knowing that He is our Provider who cares for even the smallest of our needs. The Word of God reminds us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* While your request for plates and glasses may seem simple, we know that God is attentive to every detail of our lives, and nothing is too small for His provision.
Yet we must also ask: have you sought the Lord first in this matter? Have you brought this need before Him in prayer, trusting in His faithfulness? If not, we encourage you to do so now, for it is through faith and dependence on Him that we receive His blessings. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
We also gently remind you that prayer is most powerful when offered in the name of Jesus Christ, for He is our Mediator and the only way to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your faith in Him, we urge you to do so, for without Him, our prayers are empty. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we pray you will do so today, for He alone can save and provide for all your needs.
Now, let us lift this need before the Lord together:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You with a heart of gratitude, acknowledging that You are Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider. Lord, You know the needs of Your child even before they are spoken, and we ask that You would graciously supply the plates and glasses needed for tomorrow. Let this be a reminder of Your faithfulness, that You care for every detail of our lives. Strengthen their faith, Lord, that they may trust in You more deeply and seek Your Kingdom above all else. If there is any area of unbelief or self-reliance, we ask that You would convict and draw them closer to You. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who taught us to depend on You for our daily bread. May Your will be done, and may You be glorified in this provision. Amen."*
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things, for He is faithful. If this need is not met in the way you expect, trust that God is working all things for your good (Romans 8:28) and that His timing is perfect. May this situation draw you into deeper reliance on Him, for His glory and your growth in faith.
