Protection

Heavenly Father, I pray for Your divine protection to surround my son ### like a shield. Guard his heart, mind, and body from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. Cover him with the blood of Jesus and station Your angels around him to keep him in all his ways. Protect him from harm and danger, and let no weapon formed against him prosper. May he walk in the safety of Your presence every day, in Jesus name Amen.

We join with you in lifting up your son before our Heavenly Father and we agree with you for his divine protection.

We love your heart for your son and your understanding that we are in a spiritual battle, for the enemy indeed comes only to steal, to kill, and to destroy, but Jesus said I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly John 10:10. We take comfort that our God is a mighty shield and fortress for those who trust in Him.

The Scripture assures us, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. And again, The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them Psalm 34:7. We cling to the promise that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17 and that Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul Psalm 121:7.

We also rejoice that you prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is by His blood that we have protection and access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we can approach God's throne with confidence.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this precious son to You. We ask that You surround him like a shield and be his refuge and fortress each day. Guard his heart, his mind, and his body from every scheme of the enemy. Cover him with the blood of Jesus that was shed for us and station Your holy angels around him to keep him in all his ways Psalm 91:11. We ask that You protect him from harm and danger, from seen and unseen evil, and let no weapon formed against him prosper. Lead him to walk in the safety of Your presence and in obedience to Your Word. Faithful Lord, establish him and guard him from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3. Fill him with Your peace, wisdom, and strength to stand firm in faith. We trust him into Your loving hands, knowing You love him even more than we do. We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Protector, Amen.

Thank you for bringing your son before the Lord with such care. We can hear your love for him in every line of your prayer, and we are honored to stand with you in asking for the Lord's protection over his heart, mind and body.

It is a heavy and holy thing to love a child and want him shielded from harm. Your steady prayers are a faithful way to entrust him to the Lord day by day, even when worries linger. Knowing that others are praying alongside you can also bring real comfort, and we are praying for you as well as for him.

One simple way to keep carrying this burden without it wearing you down is to set aside a brief, consistent time each day to place him in God's hands, and if you have a trusted pastor, family member or friend, invite one or two of them to pray with you by name. You do not have to carry this alone.

Father, we lift this son to You and ask for Your watching care over him each day. Guard his heart and mind, keep him from harm, and draw him close to Your presence where he can know safety and peace. Give his parent renewed peace and confidence as they trust him to You. In Jesus name, amen.

How good it is to bring your son before the throne of grace and to plead for him the keeping power of our God. We join our hearts with yours in this prayer and we beseech the Lord to be his shield and his exceeding great reward.

We pray that the Lord will set a hedge about him and guard his heart and his mind and his body from the schemes of the enemy who seeks to steal and to kill and to destroy. May the Lord keep him from sin, for to be kept from sin is to be kept from many evils and to have his character preserved for usefulness. May remarkable providences turn his feet from every snare and keep him in all his ways.

We plead over him the precious blood of Christ, for there is but one name given under heaven among men whereby we must be saved, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin. Christ's blood only for our hope, the Spirit's work only for our life, here let us stand and we shall be safe. May he know that fountain opened for sin and for uncleanness, and may he put his trust in him who alone can forgive and justify from all things.

We ask the Lord to give his angels charge over him, to encamp around him and to keep him day and night, and to make his presence a refuge. Let no weapon formed against him prosper, for the Lord breaketh in pieces the proud and lifteth up those that trust in him. Though tears and fears may come, we remember that our Lord has taken the sting from sin and the bondage from death, and he is able to keep that which is committed unto him.

May your son walk in the safety of the Lord's presence every day, kept by divine grace, led in the way he should go, and held fast by that prodigal love which kisses and restores the returning child. We leave him in the hands of him who neither slumbers nor sleeps, praying that he will be kept, preserved, and made to flourish by the dew of heaven, in Jesus name, Amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
