We join with you in prayer for your protection and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and find our refuge and safety.
We understand how disturbing bad dreams can be, especially dreams of being harmed or attacked. We want to remind you that our God does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as it says in 2 Timothy 1:7, and that He watches over you even as you sleep. The enemy seeks to bring fear and confusion through such dreams, but we have authority in Christ to resist him. James 4:7 tells us to be subject therefore to God, but resist the devil, and he will flee from you. And 1 John 4:4 reminds us that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.
The Lord is your keeper and your shield. Psalm 91:1-2 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 121:7-8 says Yahweh will keep you from all evil, He will keep your soul, Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. And 2 Thessalonians 3:3 says But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. You do not need to fear these images, for Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you, don’t be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We encourage you to bring your fears to the Lord before you sleep, to pray and fill your mind with His Word, and to put on the full armor of God as described in Ephesians 6:11, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Remember that true peace comes from Him, as Philippians 4:7 says and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And Psalm 4:8 gives us this comfort, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety.
We now pray together for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. We ask for Your divine protection over their mind, body, spirit, and home. We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and confusion that would try to attack through dreams, and we command it to leave in Jesus name. Cover them with the blood of Jesus and let Your holy angels encamp around them. Replace fear with Your perfect peace and let them rest securely in Your shadow. Guard their sleep, renew their strength, and let them wake with joy and assurance that You are with them. We also pray for their family, that You would keep them all safe from harm and bring unity and peace into their household. Let no weapon formed against them prosper as You have promised in Isaiah 54:17. We trust You as their refuge and fortress and we thank You for Your faithful love and keeping power. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Your cry for protection has been heard and we have brought it before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ.
You have been troubled in the night with fearful dreams, and such things can leave the soul shaken and full of fear. Yet there is a word for you which is as a song in the night, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when sorrows surge around and when darkness presses close. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest, and to trust Him, this is safety.
The Lord says so often in His Word, Fear not. Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. Fear not, I will help you. Fear not, I have redeemed you. It is not merely a preacher who says this, but Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant, Fear not. Fear is weakening and it dishonors God, for it doubts whether the arm which piled the heavens shall ever be palsied. Therefore labor to get rid of fear by trusting in promised strength.
We have prayed for you that the Lord would keep you in that perfect peace, that He would deliver you from all fear and from every power of darkness, that He would hide your life with Christ and keep that which you have committed unto Him. We have asked Him to be your keeper by night and by day, to set a guard about your mind and your household, and to let you know that you are accepted in the Beloved and have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
May you stay at home in your closet with your God, for you will find peace much better there at the mercy seat. God loves the mercy seat, and if you are there, He is there too. Cast yourself upon your God in Christ, and since God has made you free, you shall be free indeed.
Our prayer for you is this, O Lord our God, look upon this troubled one who has been vexed with fearful dreams. Speak Your perfect peace to this heart. We have heard your request and we are praying for you in the name of Jesus Christ for protection and peace.
Bad dreams like these can leave the heart shaken and full of fear, especially when they involve harm to your body and violence in your home. The Lord knows the fear you felt in the night, and He is near to those who call on Him. Scripture teaches us to cleave to God and to fix our hearts in the fear of Him, so that when storms and terrors come we are not easily shaken. Like a tree with deep roots, the soul that is rooted in Christ can stand firm.
We also remember that God does not always deliver at the first moment we cry out, but He teaches us to bear trials with patience and courage, and He comes to us in His perfect time. He is the One who gives blessing and who alone has power over all evil, and through the cross of Christ the prison has been broken and the power of darkness has been overcome.
Let us pray for you now.
