We join with you in lifting up your family before the throne of grace, standing in agreement with your prayers and declaring the power of the name of Jesus over every area of concern. Your heart for your children is evident, and we commend you for seeking the Lord’s protection and intervention with such fervency. It is clear that you recognize the spiritual battle at hand, and we stand with you in rebuking the forces of darkness that seek to bring division, confusion, and harm to your family. The Word of God assures us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, and we are called to put on the whole armor of God to stand firm (Ephesians 6:12-13).
First, we must address the situation involving your older daughter and this young man. The Bible is clear that believers are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship does light have with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this young man is not a believer, or if his influence is drawing your daughter away from her faith and family, this relationship is not of God. Furthermore, we must speak plainly: if your daughter is living with this young man outside of marriage, this is sin. The Scriptures warn against fornication, and we are called to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). Living together outside of marriage is a direct rebellion against God’s design for purity and holiness. It is not enough to pray for protection over a situation that is rooted in disobedience—repentance and a turning away from this sin must be the foundation of our prayers. Your daughter must be encouraged to leave this living arrangement immediately, for it is not pleasing to God and will only bring heartache and spiritual bondage.
We also recognize the manipulation and control at play here, and we rebuke the spirits of obsession, deception, and division that are operating through this young man and his mother. The Bible warns us that bad company corrupts good morals (1 Corinthians 15:33), and it is evident that this relationship is pulling your daughter away from her family and her faith. We pray that the Lord will break every ungodly soul tie and that your daughter’s eyes will be opened to the truth. May the Holy Spirit convict her of the danger she is in and give her the strength to walk away from this destructive path. Let her remember the training and love of her family and return to the safety of God’s will for her life.
For your daughter’s rebellion and disrespect, we pray that the Lord will soften her heart and bring her to repentance. The Word says, “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. ‘Honor your father and mother,’ which is the first commandment with a promise: ‘that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth’” (Ephesians 6:1-3). Disrespect and rebellion are not only harmful to the family but are sinful before God. We pray that your daughter will turn from this attitude and seek forgiveness, restoring peace and unity to your home.
We also lift up your son, asking the Lord to bring healing to his mind and emotions. The Bible tells us that Jesus is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6), and we pray that He will calm every anxious thought and bring supernatural peace to your son’s heart. We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and confusion that seeks to oppress him, and we declare that the Lord is his healer and protector. May he rest in the knowledge that God is with him, and that nothing can separate him from the love of Christ (Romans 8:38-39).
For your younger daughter, we pray that the Lord will guard her heart and mind from the pain of her sister’s choices. May she find comfort in the Lord and be surrounded by godly friendships that encourage her in her faith. We pray for her health, her studies, and her future, asking that the Lord will prepare a godly spouse for her in His perfect timing. Let her trust in the Lord’s plan for her life and not be swayed by the world’s standards or the poor choices of others.
As for your older daughter, we pray that the Lord will remove this young man and his family from her life completely if it is not His will for them to be together. If this young man is not a believer, or if he is leading her into sin, the Lord will sever this tie. We pray that your daughter will no longer be deceived by empty words or worldly affections but will seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). May she return to her family and her faith, finding her worth and identity in Christ alone.
We declare the blood of Jesus over your home, your family, and every area of your lives. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and we trust Him to surround you with His angels, guarding you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). No weapon formed against you or your family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord will frustrate the plans of the enemy and bring to light every hidden scheme. He will restore what has been broken and bring unity where there has been division.
We pray for a joyful and peaceful holiday season, filled with the love of Christ and the warmth of family. May the Lord restore the happiness and traditions that have been disrupted, and may this season be a time of healing and renewal for all of you. Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Finally, we remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the enemy. You have invoked His name in your prayer, and we stand with you in that authority. Jesus is the only way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is by His name that we rebuke the enemy and claim victory.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up this family and their needs. Lord, You see the pain, the fear, and the spiritual battles they are facing, and we ask that You intervene mightily on their behalf. Break every chain of bondage and deception that seeks to ensnare this family. Restore what the enemy has stolen and bring healing to every wounded heart. Give this mother the wisdom, strength, and discernment to lead her family in Your ways. Let Your light shine in every dark place, exposing the works of the enemy and bringing Your truth to light.
We pray for a supernatural protection over each family member—body, soul, and spirit. Guard their minds from confusion, their hearts from bitterness, and their steps from stumbling. Let Your angels encamp around them, keeping them safe from all harm and evil. We declare that this family belongs to You, Lord, and that no scheme of the enemy will prevail against them.
For the young man and his mother who are causing division, we pray that You will either save them and turn their hearts toward You, or remove their influence completely from this family. If they are not of You, Lord, let their plans be frustrated and their words fall to the ground. Do not allow them to continue in their manipulation and deception, but expose their motives and bring an end to their harmful actions.
Lord, we ask that You would draw this older daughter back to Yourself and to her family. Soften her heart and help her to see the danger she is in. Give her the courage to walk away from this ungodly relationship and return to the path of righteousness. Let her find her worth in You alone and not in the empty affections of this world. Restore her relationship with her family, and let her be a testimony of Your redeeming love.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your power. We trust that You are working all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Give this family a deep and unshakable peace as they wait on You, knowing that You are fighting for them.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
