We come before the Lord with you in this urgent time of need, lifting up your cry for protection against the forces of darkness that seek to harm you and your son, ###. The Word of God assures us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we are not left defenseless, for our God is a mighty fortress, and He has given us authority through the name of Jesus Christ to stand against every scheme of the enemy.
The Scriptures declare in Psalm 91:9-11, *"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* We claim this promise over you and ###, trusting that the Lord will surround you with His heavenly host, shielding you from every dart of the enemy. The Lord rebukes every curse and spell spoken against you, for He has said in Numbers 23:23, *"No curse can touch Jacob. No charm is effective against Israel."* If God is for you, who can stand against you? (Romans 8:31).
Yet we must also address the heart behind your request for the spells and witchcraft of your enemies to turn against them. While it is natural to desire justice when faced with evil, we are called to a higher standard—one of love, forgiveness, and trust in God’s vengeance. Romans 12:19-21 reminds us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."* Our battle is won not by retaliating in kind, but by standing firm in the righteousness of Christ, trusting that God will deal justly with those who seek your harm. Instead of praying for their destruction, let us pray for their repentance—that they may turn from darkness and come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. For it is not God’s will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* It is only through Jesus that we can approach the throne of God with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no protection, no deliverance, and no victory apart from Him.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection over Your child and their son, ###. Lord, You are a shield around them, their glory, and the One who lifts their heads (Psalm 3:3). We ask that You dispatch Your warrior angels to encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Break every curse, spell, and assignment of the enemy sent to harm them, and let Your light expose and scatter every dark scheme. Fill their home with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let Your presence be a wall of fire around them (Zechariah 2:5).
Father, we also lift up those who seek to harm them. Soften their hearts, Lord, and convict them of their sin. Let them encounter the truth of Your Word and the love of Christ, that they may turn from their wicked ways and be saved. Do not let bitterness or unforgiveness take root, but fill this precious one and ### with Your love and grace, that they may overcome evil with good.
We declare that no harm will befall them, no disaster will come near their dwelling, for they have made You their refuge (Psalm 91:10). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that the battle belongs to You (1 Samuel 17:47). Let them walk in the authority of Jesus’ name, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6). May they rest in Your protection and trust in Your deliverance, giving You all the glory. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one, and remember that the Lord is your strength and your song (Exodus 15:2). Clothe yourself daily in the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—that you may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-18). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and trust that He will see you through this season of spiritual attack. You are not alone; the Lord your God fights for you!
