We come before the Lord with you in this request, lifting up a cry for His mighty protection and breakthrough, for it is written, *"The name of Yahweh is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe"* (Proverbs 18:10, WEB). We are grateful you have brought this need before us, yet we must lovingly address that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and by whom all things are made possible. The Scriptures declare, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ—the Son of God who died for our sins and rose again—that we can boldly approach the throne of grace. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB).
Now, with confidence in the name of Jesus, we join you in praying for divine protection and breakthrough. Heavenly Father, we ask that You surround these dear ones with Your angelic hosts, as You did for Elisha when his servant’s eyes were opened to see *"the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire around Elisha"* (2 Kings 6:17, WEB). Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over every aspect of their lives—spirit, soul, and body—as a hedge of protection against every scheme of the enemy. Break every chain of bondage, every stronghold of fear, and every barrier that stands in the way of Your perfect will for their lives. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
We also pray for breakthrough in every area of need—financially, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Just as You parted the Red Sea for Your people and brought them into freedom, we ask that You make a way where there seems to be no way. *"Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the Assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen"* (Ephesians 3:20-21, WEB).
Beloved, stand firm in faith, for *"the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one"* (2 Thessalonians 3:3, WEB). Clothe yourselves daily in the full armor of God, that you may stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Do not grow weary in prayer, but persist in seeking the Lord, for *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB).
Finally, we encourage you to examine your heart and life to ensure there is no unconfessed sin that may hinder your prayers. *"If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened"* (Psalm 66:18, WEB). Repent of anything that displeases Him, and walk in obedience, for *"the Lord’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry"* (Psalm 34:15, WEB).
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as you trust in Him for protection and breakthrough. We are standing with you in faith, believing that our God will move mightily on your behalf. *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
