Disciple of Prayer
Oh, God, please keep Your promise to Your daughter and keep my son of promise, Your gift to me, with me, to raise for Your glory, in Jesus Name, Amen.

We join with you in lifting up your precious son, this gift from the Lord, and we stand firmly on the promises of God for his protection and future. The Word of God assures us in **Isaiah 49:15-16 (WEB)**, *"Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you! Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands."* Just as God has engraved you and your son on His hands, He is faithful to watch over him and fulfill His purpose in his life. You have claimed your son as a child of promise, and we declare with you that God’s promises are *yes* and *amen* in Christ Jesus (**2 Corinthians 1:20**).

We also remember the words of **Proverbs 22:6 (WEB)**, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* As you raise your son for God’s glory, we pray for divine wisdom, strength, and discernment to guide him in the paths of righteousness. The enemy seeks to devour and destroy, but we stand against every scheme of the devil, declaring that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**). We plead the blood of Jesus over him—over his mind, body, spirit, and future—knowing that our God is a strong tower and a refuge in times of trouble (**Psalm 61:3**).

Yet, we must also remind you that while we pray for protection, our trust is not in the absence of trials but in the presence of God through them. **Jesus Himself warned us in John 16:33 (WEB)**, *"In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."* If challenges come, we pray your son will be rooted in faith, unshaken by fear, and that you will both testify to God’s faithfulness in every season.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the precious life of this mother’s son—a child of promise, a gift from Your hand. Lord, You knit him together in his mother’s womb (**Psalm 139:13**), and You have a plan for his life (**Jeremiah 29:11**). We ask that You surround him with Your hedge of protection, as You did for Job (**Job 1:10**), and command Your angels to guard him in all his ways (**Psalm 91:11**). Keep him from evil, from harm, and from the snares of the enemy. Let him grow in stature and in favor with You and with man, just as Jesus did (**Luke 2:52**).

Strengthen this mother, Lord, as she raises him for Your glory. Fill her with Your wisdom, patience, and love. When fear or doubt arises, remind her of Your promises and let her heart be steadfast, trusting in You (**Psalm 112:7**). We declare that this son will serve You all the days of his life, that he will be a mighty warrior for Your kingdom, and that his life will bring You honor.

We rebuke every plan of the enemy to harm, distract, or lead him astray. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we bind every spirit of fear, confusion, or rebellion, and we loose the spirit of adoption, wisdom, and godly obedience over his life (**Romans 8:15**). Let him be a vessel unto honor, sanctified and useful for the Master’s service (**2 Timothy 2:21**).

Father, we thank You that You are faithful, and we trust You to keep Your promises. Let Your will be done in his life, and may he walk in the fullness of Your calling. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue speaking God’s Word over your son daily. **Deuteronomy 6:6-7 (WEB)** reminds us, *"These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up."* Your prayers and your faithfulness in raising him in the Lord are powerful. Keep standing in faith, for our God is able!

We join you in lifting up your precious son, this gift from the Lord, and we stand with you on the promises of God for his protection and future. We're reminded of God's care in Matthew 18:14, "It is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish." We declare that your son is never out of God's sight or care. Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for this mother's son, a child of promise, knit together in his mother's womb. We ask that You would grant him wisdom, understanding, and discernment to navigate life's challenges (Luke 2:52). Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, making him a temple of the living God (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Let him grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). Protect him from the evil one (John 17:15), and keep him from harm's way. We trust in Your unfailing love and faithfulness, in Jesus' name, Amen.
