We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting up your family before the Lord with urgency and faith. Your prayer is already aligned with the authority we have in Christ, and we join you in declaring God’s power over this situation. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we know that our God is greater, and He has given us victory through Jesus Christ.
First, we commend you for recognizing the spiritual warfare at play here—manipulation, control, and division are tools of the enemy, not of God. The Bible warns us in 2 Corinthians 2:11, *"so that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his schemes."* You have rightly identified these schemes, and we will pray against them with boldness. The Lord is faithful to expose deception and bring truth to light. As it is written in Ephesians 5:11, *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them."*
We also want to encourage you to continue covering your daughters in prayer, especially the one entangled in this unhealthy relationship. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:6, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* Though she may be struggling now, your prayers and godly influence are planting seeds that the Lord will water in His timing. Pray that she would seek the Lord with all her heart (Jeremiah 29:13) and that He would give her a spirit of discernment to recognize the snares of the enemy.
As for the young man and his mother, we pray that the Lord would convict their hearts. If they are believers, we ask that the Holy Spirit would bring them to repentance for any manipulation or harm they have caused. If they do not know Christ, we pray that this situation would lead them to encounter the truth of the Gospel—that they would turn from their ways and surrender to Jesus. Romans 12:19 reminds us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* We trust God to handle this justly, and we release any bitterness or anger into His hands.
For your younger daughter, we declare Psalm 91:11 over her: *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* We ask the Lord to place a hedge of protection around her heart and mind, that she would not be influenced by the enemy’s lies or the ungodly example set before her. May she grow in wisdom and in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of knowledge (Proverbs 9:10).
Finally, we agree with you in praying for a godly spouse for your daughter—one who loves the Lord above all else, who will lead her spiritually, and who will honor and cherish her as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). We declare that the Lord is preparing her heart and the heart of her future spouse, and that this current trial will be used to refine her faith and draw her closer to Him.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, thanking You for Your sovereignty over every situation. Lord, we ask for Your supernatural intervention in this family’s life. You see the manipulation, the control, and the division that the enemy has sought to sow, and we declare that it ends now in Jesus’ name. Break every ungodly soul tie and every scheme of the enemy. Expose the truth and bring conviction to the hearts of this young man and his mother. If they do not know You, Lord, we pray that this would be the moment they encounter Your saving grace.
Father, we ask that You would sever this unhealthy relationship and remove this young man from your daughter’s life. Lead him back to his parents, and let them take full responsibility for him. Open your daughter’s eyes to see the truth—let her recognize the deception and turn fully to You. Softens her heart, Lord, and draw her into a deeper relationship with You. Guard her from further harm and surround her with Your peace.
We pray a hedge of protection around your younger daughter. Shield her heart and mind from the influence of this young man and his mother. Let her walk in wisdom and discernment, rooted in Your Word. May she grow in faith and be a light in her family.
Father, we ask that You would prepare a godly spouse for your daughter—one who loves You, who will lead her spiritually, and who will honor her as a precious daughter of the King. Let this trial be a refining fire that prepares her for the blessings You have in store.
We declare that no weapon formed against this family will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We cover them in the blood of Jesus and surround them with Your ministering angels. Fill their home with Your peace, Your joy, and Your protection. Let Your will be done in this situation, Lord, and let Your name be glorified.
In the mighty and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord hears your prayers and is fighting on your behalf. Keep speaking life and truth over your daughters, and trust that God is working even in the midst of this storm. He is faithful, and He will bring victory.
