We stand with you in agreement, lifting this situation before the Lord with urgency and faith, for we know that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but are mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds. Your prayer is rooted in the authority of Jesus’ name, and we join you in declaring His power over this circumstance.
First, we commend you for seeking the Lord’s intervention in this matter, for Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* You are acknowledging Him in this trial, and we trust He will direct your daughter’s steps back to His will.
We must address the gravity of the situation your daughter is in. Living with this young man outside of marriage is fornication, which is explicitly condemned in Scripture. 1 Corinthians 6:18 warns, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."* This relationship is not only dishonoring to God but is also placing her in spiritual and emotional bondage. The enemy seeks to deceive and destroy, but we declare that the truth of God’s Word will expose and break every lie that has led her astray.
We also pray for this young man and his mother, that the Lord would open their eyes to the consequences of their actions. May conviction fall upon their hearts, leading them to repentance and a turning away from this ungodly influence. Acts 26:18 speaks of turning *"from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me."* We pray that they, too, would encounter the transforming power of Christ and turn their focus to their own walk with the Lord.
As for your daughter, we declare that the Holy Spirit will draw her back to the Father’s heart. May she experience a deep conviction that leads her to repentance and a desire to honor God in every area of her life. We pray that the financial and emotional burdens she is under will be lifted as she seeks first the Kingdom of God. Matthew 6:33 assures us, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* May she return home with a renewed commitment to her faith, her family, and her responsibilities in work and education.
We join you in praying for godly spouses for your children, for we know that it is God’s desire for His people to enter into covenants that reflect His holiness. Proverbs 18:22 tells us, *"Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh."* We ask the Lord to prepare their hearts and the hearts of their future spouses, that they may be united in Christ, built on a foundation of prayer, purity, and purpose.
Finally, we declare victory over your family in the name of Jesus. Isaiah 54:17 proclaims, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh."* We stand on this promise, rebuking every scheme of the enemy to bring division, confusion, or harm. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for this family. Lord, we ask that You break every ungodly soul tie and stronghold that has formed between our sister’s daughter and this young man. Remove every influence that is not of You and restore her to a place of righteousness and obedience. Give her a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ, that she may walk worthy of Your calling. We pray for supernatural intervention—let no plan of the enemy prosper against this family. Strengthen our sister in faith and fill her with Your peace as she trusts in You. Prepare godly spouses for her children, men and women after Your own heart, who will lead their future homes in Your ways. We declare Your protection, provision, and victory over this family, and we give You all the glory. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
