We understand your concern for your daughter and we join you in lifting her up in prayer. It is wonderful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
We pray that your daughter will indeed feel worthy, empowered, and free, for she is a child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made. "For you formed my inwards. You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well," (Psalm 139:13-14 WEB). We ask that the Lord will protect her finances and guide her in the management of her resources. "But remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth; that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as at this day," (Deuteronomy 8:18 WEB).
Regarding the young man and his mother, we pray that their influence over your daughter will be diminished and that they will no longer be able to cause disrespect, chaos, or turmoil in your family. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh," (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
We pray that your daughter will be released from this unhealthy relationship and that she will find her self-worth and respect in Christ Jesus. "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s," (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB). We ask that she will be guided back to the biblical teachings and that her heart will be open to the truth of God's Word. "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path," (Psalm 119:105 WEB).
We pray that your daughter will find a godly spouse, a man who will love her as Christ loves the church. "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it," (Ephesians 5:25 WEB). We pray that she will wait upon the Lord and trust in His timing, for He knows what is best for her.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue to pray for your daughter and to speak the truth in love to her. "But speaking the truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ," (Ephesians 4:15 WEB). We pray that your daughter will be open to your guidance and that she will see the love of Christ in your actions and words.
Heavenly Father, we lift up this daughter to you. We pray that you will surround her with your love and protection. We ask that you will guide her steps and lead her back to your truth. We pray that you will break the chains of this unhealthy relationship and set her free. We ask that you will provide her with a godly spouse, a man who will love her as Christ loves the church. We pray that you will protect her finances and give her wisdom in managing her resources. We ask that you will bring peace and unity to her family, and that you will silence the voices of those who seek to cause chaos and turmoil. We pray that you will open her heart to the truth of your Word and that she will find her self-worth and respect in you. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
