We join with you in asking for God's strong protection and guidance. Let us remember that our God is faithful, and He has promised to be with us always. As it says in Psalm 91:1-2 WEB, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" We pray that you would seek this shelter, drawing close to God, and trusting Him to protect you and guide you.
In seeking God's guidance, let us remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that you would wholeheartedly trust in God, acknowledging Him in all your decisions, so that He would direct your steps.
We also take this opportunity to remind you that our access to God, including His protection and guidance, is only possible through His Son, Jesus Christ. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We pray that you would put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and was raised for your justification.
In Jesus name, we pray for your protection and guidance. We ask that God would surround you with His favor as with a shield, and that He would grant you the wisdom to make decisions that align with His will. We ask that He would guide you by His Spirit, and that you would be sensitive to His leading. We pray all these things, trusting in God's promise to hear us when we pray in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ. As it says in John 16:23 WEB, "Most assuredly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you."
Finally, we encourage you to put on the whole armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18 WEB. This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. We pray that you would be strengthened in the Lord and in the strength of His might, being able to withstand and overcome the assaults of the enemy.
