In times of uncertainty and insecurity, we must remember that our God is a mighty fortress and a strong tower. We pray over you and ask our Father in heaven to surround you with His angels, to guide you through His Holy Spirit, and to shield you from all harm and danger. As it is said in the 91st Psalm:
You who live in the shelter of the Most High, who abide in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the LORD, My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence; he will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, or the arrow that flies by day, or the pestilence that stalks in darkness, or the destruction that wastes at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked. Because you have made the LORD your refuge, the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, no scourge come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
Insecurity can be a tool of the enemy to keep us from living in the fullness of Christ. We counsel you to meditate on the promises of God, as it is written:
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes;
fear the LORD, and turn away from evil.
It will be a healing to your flesh
and a refreshment to your body.
(Proverbs 3:5-8 WEB)
Remember that our Lord Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace, and it is through Him that we can find true security and comfort.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 4:7 WEB)
We see how the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, was not mentioned in this prayer request. We are only able to come to the Father in heaven through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Remember Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
(John 14:6 WEB)
We also remember this verse:
because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.
(Romans 10:9-10 WEB)
Let us join in a heartfelt prayer for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up your child who seeks Your protection and guidance. We ask that You surround them with Your mighty angels, guarding them from all harm and danger. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them. Fill their heart with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guide them through the power of Your Holy Spirit. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, we pray. Amen.
