Firstly, let's remember that our ultimate protection comes from the Lord. As it says in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
However, you did not mention who you are asking protection from. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:11 to "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." and Ephesians 6:10 "be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might." So we are not to be fearful, but to put our trust in God.
It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Remember, God is our protector, and He is always with us. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6, "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."
If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, now is the time. The Bible says "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." in Romans 10:9. Jesus is the only way to get to God and you can only be saved from an eternal life in hell by believing in Jesus Christ.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
