We are grateful for the opportunity to stand with you in prayer, seeking God's strong protection and guidance. We are reminded of Psalm 91 WEB:
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, "He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust." For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you. (Psalm 91:1-7)
Let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection and guidance for the one who brought this request before us.
We know that we are safe in the name of Jesus and the power of his blood that was shed on the cross. We are told in Acts 4:12 WEB that there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Hide them in the shadow of Your wings, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Guide their steps according to Your will, and help them to walk in Your ways, for You have said in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB:
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Grant them discernment and wisdom to recognize Your voice and follow Your lead. Surround them with Your favor as with a shield, and keep them from all harm and danger.
We pray that the one who submitted this request knows Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. If they do not we pray that they will come to know Jesus as You have said in John 3:16-18 WEB:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn't believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.
Let Your Holy Spirit fill their lives and empower them to live righteously and boldly for You. As they go about their daily lives, may they be a shining light for You, drawing others to Your saving grace.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on Psalm 91 and other scriptures that affirm God's protection and guidance. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and He will direct your paths.
