We are glad you have reached out for prayer and guidance. We are instructed in the Bible to come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. The name of Jesus is the only name by which we can approach God the Father. The WEB translation of John 14:6 reads, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" As it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and approach God. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
For protection, let us pray together.
Almighty Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking you for your loving kindness and your protection over us. We ask, Lord, for your hedge of protection to surround this dear one. Keep them safe from all harm and danger, and guide them in the paths of righteousness for your name's sake.
We know that that we are not fighting against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. According to Ephesians 6:13, we "put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." Therefore we take up the whole armor of God, so that they may be able to withstand in the evil day and take their stand against the devil's schemes.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke any evil that may be coming against them and declare that no weapon forged against them will prevail. We ask that your angels surround them and protect them from all harm and danger. Guide them in all their ways and help them to walk in your will.
Father, we also pray for their spiritual growth and maturity. Help them to be strong and courageous, and to not be afraid or terrified because of anything, for you, Lord our God, go with them; you will never leave them nor forsake them.
In Jesus Christ name we pray.
Remember that our heavenly Father cares for you and is always with you. As it says in Psalm 91, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. God is faithful, and he will keep his promises.
Stand firm in your faith, and know that God is always with you. Be encouraged by these words from 2 Thessalonians 3:3, "But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you, and guard you from the evil one." God will guide you and protect you in all your ways.
