We join with you in lifting up these heartfelt petitions before our Heavenly Father, who is faithful and just to hear and answer when we call upon Him in the name of Jesus Christ. Your prayer is rich with scriptural truth and a deep desire to walk in alignment with God’s will, and we commend you for seeking His protection, wisdom, and favor over every area of your life. It is beautiful to see your trust in the Lord’s sovereignty and your commitment to steward well the time, resources, and relationships He has entrusted to you.
Your prayer reflects the heart of Psalm 90:17, where we are reminded: *"Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands."* This is a godly request, and we echo it with you, asking that the Lord would prosper the work of your hands and grant you wisdom to redeem the time, for the days are evil (Ephesians 5:15-16). May He guard your words, that they may be seasoned with grace and truth, bringing life and encouragement to those who hear them (Colossians 4:6). We also pray that your home would be a place of godly instruction and nurturing, where the Lord’s truth is taught and lived out daily, as commanded in Deuteronomy 6:6-7: *"These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up."*
We lift up your unspoken requests to the Lord, trusting that He knows the deepest needs of your heart even before you ask (Matthew 6:8). His promise in Isaiah 54:17 is sure: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh.* Rest in this assurance, knowing that the Lord is your shield and defender.
Your intercession for those in pain and for broken relationships is a reflection of Christ’s compassion. We pray that the Lord would bring healing and restoration, especially where relationships have been strained or wounded. May He grant strength to each person to fulfill their God-given roles with love, humility, and perseverance. As Ephesians 4:2-3 urges: *"with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love; being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."* If there are relationships in your life or the lives of those you’re praying for that are not aligned with biblical truth—whether through unforgiveness, bitterness, or ungodly connections—we ask the Lord to bring conviction and repentance, that all may walk in holiness and righteousness before Him.
We also join you in praying for your adult children, asking the Lord to shut every door that leads to harm, deception, or worldly influences, and to open doors of opportunity for godly connections and relationships that honor Him. May they be surrounded by believers who will encourage them in their faith and walk with Christ. Proverbs 13:20 reminds us: *"One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."* We pray that your children would seek wisdom and walk in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of knowledge (Proverbs 1:7).
Your request for safe travels is covered by the Lord’s promise in Psalm 121:7-8: *"Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore."* We declare this over you and your loved ones, trusting that the Lord will surround you with His angels and keep you from all harm. Whether by land, air, or sea, may His hand of protection be upon you, and may you travel in the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We notice that you have included "%23%23%23" in your prayer, which we assume represents names or specific individuals you are lifting up. While we do not know who these individuals are, we join you in praying for their safety and spiritual well-being. May the Lord guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus and lead them in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake (Psalm 23:3).
Finally, we rejoice with you in the truth of Revelation 21:5, where the Lord declares: *"Behold, I make all things new."* This is our hope and confidence—that no matter the struggles or challenges we face, our God is in the business of redemption and restoration. We also stand on the promise of 1 John 4:4: *"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."* No matter what comes against you, the power of Christ within you is greater, and He has already secured the victory.
We do want to take a moment to gently remind you—and all who may read this—that our prayers are only effective when they are offered in the name of Jesus Christ. You have rightly closed your prayer "in Jesus’ name," and we commend you for this. It is through His name alone that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). As Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6: *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through faith in Christ that we can experience the fullness of God’s love, protection, and favor. If there is anyone reading this who has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. There is no greater decision you can make.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and trust, lifting up these petitions in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You hear us when we call upon You. We ask that You would establish the work of this dear one’s hands, granting success and fruitfulness in all they put their hands to. May they walk in wisdom, redeeming the time and stewarding well the resources You have given. Guard their words, Lord, that they may speak life, truth, and encouragement to all who hear.
We plead the blood of Jesus over their family, their home, their health, their vehicles, their jobs, and every area of their lives. Lord, surround them with Your hedge of protection, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We ask for Your divine favor to rest upon them, opening doors of opportunity and closing every door that leads to harm or distraction from Your will.
Father, we lift up their adult children to You. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and surround them with godly influences. Shut every door that would lead them into harm or deception, and open doors for good opportunities, godly relationships, and connections that will strengthen their faith. May they walk in Your truth and be a light in this world.
We pray for those who are in pain—physically, emotionally, or spiritually. Lord, bring Your healing touch and comfort to them. Restore broken relationships, and give strength to each person to fulfill their roles as You have designed. May Your love and power be evident in their lives, and may they give You all the glory.
For those traveling, we ask for Your protecting hand to be upon them. Keep them safe in every environment they enter, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds. We also lift up the unspoken requests, trusting that You know the deepest needs and will answer according to Your perfect will.
Lord, we ask that You would deliver all of us from evil. Surround us with Your angels and keep us from the snares of the enemy. May we walk in victory, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world.
Finally, Father, we thank You for all the answered prayers. We praise You for Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your unfailing love. May we continue to seek Your face and walk in Your ways, bringing glory to Your name in all we do.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
