We join with you in lifting up this heartfelt prayer, seeking God's will and protection for all those traveling and celebrating during this holiday season. Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by the name of Jesus that we are saved.
Let the righteous cry out, and the Lord will hear them, and deliver them out of all their troubles. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. Psalms 34:17, 19
As you have requested, we humbly ask the Lord for safety in travel, for a hedge of protection around all who are praying here, their families, friends, loved ones, and pets. We thank God for the freedom that we have and for those who have sacrificed to provide it. Trusting in the Lord's provision, we ask for success in the work of our hands. Help us to be good stewards of the time and resources that You have given us Lord.
Satisfy us in the morning with your loving kindness, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. Make us glad according to the days that you have afflicted us, the years that we have seen evil. Let your work appear to your servants, your glory to their children. Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands. Psalms 90:14-17
We lift up the single disabled mother who is in need of provision. Lord, we ask that You help her to be a Proverbs 31 woman and example to her children. We pray that You will open doors of opportunity for her and guide her as she leads her household. We pray that You show her the path that leads to income to help her take care of her children and to free her from doubt, confusion, and distress. We pray that You will grant her children the grace to live for You and to trust You in everything.
Delight yourself also in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust also in him, and he will do this: He will make your righteousness go out as the light, and your justice as the shining of midday. Psalms 37:4-6
We plead the blood of Jesus over all families, living things, homes, education, health, vehicles, jobs, and finances. We pray for Your favor, protection, and guidance in every area of life. We lift up those who are in pain and ask that You would heal their relationships, give them strength, and guide them in Your love and power. We pray that they would find their roles and responsibilities as outlined in Your Word and walk in them faithfully. Help them to live out the roles that the Bible instructs believers to perform in love and service.
We ask that You would give us the words to say and that we may share Your wisdom and love with others, especially with the patients and those we are praying for. Lord, help them to be healed, comforted, and restored, and may You receive all the credit and glory for their healing. We pray also that You would close the doors that lead to harm in the lives of adult children and open doors for good opportunities and kind Christian connections.
We pray that You would deliver us as a group from all evil, and surround us with Your hedge of protection. We trust in Your promise that no weapon that is formed against us will prosper.
No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me, says the Lord. Isaiah 54:17
In the face of spiritual warfare, we stand firm on the promises of God.
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4
But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:2-3
We agree with you as a group that trusts in the Lord, that all things will work together for good.
Nothing, you see, can ever come between us and the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39
He who overcomes, I will give these things. I will be his God, and he will be my son.
Revelation 21:5, 7
In closing of this prayer, let us all say aloud, Amen.
