We join with you in lifting up your daughter before the Lord, and we are deeply moved by your heartfelt prayers for her protection, restoration, and success. It is clear that you love her dearly and desire God’s very best for her life. We stand in agreement with you, knowing that our prayers are powerful when we come together in the name of Jesus, for where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20).
First, we rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). Your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus is a testament to your trust in His sovereignty, and we commend you for it. It is by His authority that we can boldly approach the throne of grace and find mercy in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
We also take note of your prayer regarding the toxic relationship that has brought confusion and distraction into your daughter’s life. It is critical to address this with biblical clarity, for relationships that do not align with God’s design can become strongholds that hinder our walk with Christ. Scripture warns us, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this relationship is with someone who does not share her faith in Christ—or worse, if it is a relationship outside of God’s design for marriage—it must be surrendered to the Lord. Fornication, emotional entanglements that lead to compromise, or any relationship that pulls her away from Christ must be broken in the name of Jesus. We pray that the Holy Spirit will convict her heart and give her the strength to walk away from anything that does not honor God. May she seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting that all other things will be added unto her (Matthew 6:33).
As for her career and the challenges she faces with her new boss and coworker, we are reminded of the words of the apostle Peter: *"For it is better, if the will of God should so will, that you suffer for doing well than for doing evil"* (1 Peter 3:17). Your daughter’s dedication to serving individuals with disabilities and fostering inclusion is a noble and Christ-like calling. The Lord sees her labor, and He will reward her in due time. However, we must also remind her—and you—that our ultimate promotion comes from the Lord, not from man. *"A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps"* (Proverbs 16:9). If it is God’s will for her to receive the Director position in the spring, He will open that door, and no man will be able to shut it (Revelation 3:8). But if His plans are different, we must trust that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9).
We also take seriously your prayer against jealousy, gossip, and manipulation in her workplace. Scripture is clear that the tongue has the power of life and death (Proverbs 18:21), and we rebuked every lying and divisive word spoken against her in the name of Jesus. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that every scheme of the enemy to undermine her work or tarnish her reputation is exposed and rendered powerless. May the Lord grant her favor with those in authority, just as He did for Joseph in Egypt (Genesis 39:21) and Daniel in Babylon (Daniel 1:9).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and faith, lifting up this precious daughter of Yours. Lord, You know her name, her heart, and every detail of her life. You see the sacrifices she has made, the passion she has poured into her work, and the love she has shown to those in need. We ask that You surround her today with Your divine favor like a shield. Let Your presence go before her at this event, filling the atmosphere with Your peace, joy, and breakthrough success. May every person there be blessed, and may her light shine with the excellence, grace, and wisdom that can only come from You, Lord.
Father, we rebuked every spirit of jealousy, insecurity, and manipulation that has risen against her. Silence every gossiping tongue and expose every lie spoken in darkness. Let truth and integrity prevail in her workplace, and may her former supervisor—who knows the value of her work—be moved by Your Spirit to speak up on her behalf. Lord, if it is Your will, open the door for her promotion in the spring. But above all, let her find her satisfaction and identity in You alone, knowing that her worth is not defined by titles or human approval but by her standing as Your beloved child.
We also pray for her spiritual and emotional restoration. Lord, if there is any toxic relationship in her life that has brought confusion or distraction, we ask that You sever every ungodly soul tie in the name of Jesus. Break every chain of spiritual attack and draw her back into full surrender to You. Surround her with godly, loving, and uplifting people who will strengthen her walk with You. Saturate her heart with Your peace, contentment, and unfailing love. Protect her reputation, her spirit, her purpose, and her destiny.
Father, we declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You shall condemn. Turn every attack into a testimony of Your glory, and let this season be one of divine favor, vindication, and restoration. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are fighting for her—she only needs to be still (Exodus 14:14).
Finally, we pray that You would use this situation to draw her closer to You. May she seek Your face above all else, finding her rest and security in Your presence. Let her trust in You completely, knowing that You are her Provider, her Protector, and her Promoter.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done in her life, and may she walk in the fullness of the destiny You have prepared for her.
In the mighty and victorious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
