We also see your deep concern for your daughter, who has been entangled in an ungodly relationship with this young man. The behaviors you describe—division, disrespect, manipulation, and corruption—are not of the Lord. The Bible warns us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* It is clear that this relationship is not honoring to God, and we pray that your daughter’s eyes will be opened to the truth. May the Holy Spirit convict her heart and reveal to her the self-worth she has in Christ, that she is a daughter of the King and deserves to be treated with love, honor, and respect.
It is our prayer that she will turn away from idolizing this young man and his family, for the Lord commands in Exodus 20:3, *"You shall have no other gods before me."* Anything or anyone that takes the place of God in our hearts becomes an idol, and idolatry is a sin that separates us from the Lord. We pray that she will repent of this and turn her heart fully to Jesus, seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). We also pray that the Lord will break every ungodly soul tie between your daughter and this young man, that she may be free to walk in the purpose and destiny God has for her.
We lift up your request for godly spouses for your daughters—men who will love the Lord with all their hearts and who will honor, cherish, and lead your daughters in a way that glorifies God. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and we pray that your daughters will wait upon the Lord, trusting in His timing and His perfect will for their lives. Proverbs 18:22 tells us, *"Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh."* May your daughters find favor in the Lord as they seek Him first, and may He prepare godly husbands for them who will love them as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25).
We also pray for healing in your family—healing from the wounds caused by division, disrespect, and chaos. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May He bind up the broken places in your family and restore unity, love, and peace. Colossians 3:13-14 reminds us, *"bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Finally, we agree with you in prayer for a hedge of protection around you and your children. Psalm 91:11 declares, *"For he will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways."* We pray that the Lord will surround your family with His heavenly hosts, that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Restore her mind and emotions, and lead her into a place of repentance and surrender to Your perfect plan. Father, we pray that You will remove this young man from their lives completely, that he and his family will no longer have any influence over them. Let them see the error of their ways and turn from their destructive behaviors.
We pray for godly spouses for these daughters—men after Your own heart who will love them as Christ loves the church. Prepare these young women to be godly wives, and prepare their future husbands to lead them in righteousness. Let their marriages be a testimony of Your grace and faithfulness.
