Your thanksgiving has been received with joy, and I join you in blessing the God of mercies who has brought you through perils and crowned you with pity and tender mercies. Nothing profits us so much as constantly to remember the mercies of God, whether public or private, and you have done well to give Him all credit and praise, for though we labor and pray, it is His mercy that delivers us from the very gates of death and keeps us.

I pray with you and for your household in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father.

I ask the Lord to grant you increasing order and organization in your home, that you may walk the narrow way sober and wakeful, confident because Jesus is your guide, and that your work and every area of life may bear the fruits of righteousness which are through Christ, to the glory and praise of God. May your love abound yet more and more in knowledge and discernment, and may the fruit of the Spirit increase among you as you love God with heart, mind, soul and strength, and love one another.

For your daughter I pray for healing in body and heart, for strength and wisdom in her work and schooling, and for protection in her marriage. May the Lord close the doors that lead to harm and open doors for good opportunities and kind Christian connections, and help both your daughter and your son to see themselves as God sees them, valued and redeemed in Christ.

For your son I pray for safety on his motorcycle and on his long travels, for travel mercies wherever he goes, and that the Lord will direct his steps and in His perfect time lead him to his future wife according to His design for marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman.

For your family I pray for freedom from generational illness, for healing of hearts and broken relationships, and for help in the trial you are working through and in the unspoken requests you carry. May God comfort you as the God of all comfort, deliver you from every evil, and surround you with His hedge of protection and favor according to His promises in Psalm 91 and Psalm 121, Isaiah 54:17, 1 John 4:4, 2 Thessalonians 3:2-3, and Revelation 21:5 where He makes all things new.

Let us continue sober, watchful and prayerful, putting a bridle on the tongue and casting off what hinders, so that we are not swept away even for a little slumber, but stand firm. May all glory and praise and credit be given to the Lord who is able to keep you safe in all your travels and to perfect what He has begun in you. Amen.
