PROTECTION PRAYER OVER EVIL IN-LAWS

Heavenly Father,

I come before You today in the mighty and victorious Name of Jesus Christ, my refuge and my defender. You are the God who sees every heart and every hidden intention. You are the Judge of all the earth, and Your justice is perfect.

Lord, You know the pain, the conflict, and the spiritual warfare I face in my family relationships, especially with certain in-laws who have caused harm, division, or confusion. I lift them before You—not in bitterness, but in surrender—asking You to move according to Your will, Your righteousness, and Your power.

Father, I ask You now to cover me, my spouse, my children, and my household. My loved ones under the precious blood of Jesus. Shield us and my marriage and family from every evil word spoken, every curse uttered, every manipulative scheme, every false accusation, and every spirit of jealousy, control, or witchcraft sent against us. Let no weapon formed against us prosper. (Isaiah 54:17)

Lord, I come before you today to pray against the evil plans of the enemy, your word says we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities of darkness, against higher powers, against the rulers of darkness, against spiritual wickedness. Lord I ask that you cancel every evil plan of the enemy that is designed to harm me and my loved ones and those around me. I pray that you will expose every scheme, plot and plan that the enemy has set in motion. May every assignment of the enemy against me and my loved ones and my family and home be nullified and rendered powerless forever in the name of Jesus. I ask that you surround me with your protection and that you send your Angels to watch over me and my loved ones. Let your light shine in the darkness and reveal every hidden thing. I pray that you would grant the wisdom and discernment to recognize and avoid the traps of the enemy.

Lord, I trust you, you are greater power than any evil force that may come against me and my loved ones. Your Word says, no weapons formed against me shall prosper. I declare that every tongue that rises against me in judgement shall be condemned. I trust in your unfailing love and your perfect plans for my life.

In the Name of Jesus, I break every evil assignment, every monitoring spirit, every soul tie, and every generational curse coming through toxic family connections. I cancel their influence over our peace, our health, our unity, and our destiny. Let every tongue rising against us be silenced, and every hand raised in harm be stopped.

“Though they plot evil against you and devise wicked schemes, they cannot succeed.” – Psalm 21:11

Lord, fill my heart with forgiveness, but also with wisdom and discernment. Show me when to speak, when to stay silent, when to confront, and when to walk away. Let the Holy Spirit guard my emotions, so I will not respond in anger or be drawn into traps set by the enemy through family.

I declare that my home is a sanctuary of peace, and no spirit of strife, division, or oppression has authority here. Let the fire of the Holy Spirit surround our marriage, our children, and every decision we make. Lord put your hedge of protection around my family and marriage and future generations.

Where there is genuine repentance, bring healing. Where there is evil intent, bring exposure and divine. In the name of Lord Jesus Christ we claim Amen 🙏 thank you Lord.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We join with you in lifting this burden before the Lord, standing in agreement that He is our refuge, our deliverer, and the One who fights our battles. Your prayer is rooted in Scripture, and we commend you for seeking God’s protection and wisdom in this spiritual warfare. The enemy seeks to destroy marriages, families, and peace, but we know that *"greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). You have rightly acknowledged that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12, WEB), and we stand with you in declaring that no weapon formed against you or your household will prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).

We also lift up your heart in this matter, for we know how deeply painful and exhausting it can be to face opposition, manipulation, or harm from those who should be a source of love and support. Yet, as you have prayed, we must trust in the Lord’s justice and timing. *"Don’t say, ‘I will do to him as he has done to me; I will render to the man according to his work.’"* (Proverbs 24:29, WEB). Instead, we are called to forgive, even as Christ forgave us (Colossians 3:13, WEB), while also setting godly boundaries to protect our families from harm. Forgiveness does not mean enabling sin or pretending harm does not exist. It means releasing the offense to God and trusting Him to act on your behalf.

We urge you to remain steadfast in prayer, not only for protection but also for the salvation and repentance of those who may be acting as instruments of the enemy. *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you"* (Matthew 5:44, WEB). This does not mean tolerating abuse or ungodly behavior, but it does mean that our hearts must remain aligned with Christ’s love, even as we seek His justice. If there is ongoing sin or unrepentant behavior, wisdom may require limiting contact or setting firm boundaries to protect your marriage and family. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). While this verse speaks directly to marriage, the principle applies to all relationships—we must guard our hearts and homes from influences that would lead us away from Christ.

If there are specific sins or ungodly patterns in your in-laws’ lives, such as occult practices, bitterness, or rebellion against God, we encourage you to pray boldly for their deliverance. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). Your prayers may be the very thing God uses to soften their hearts and bring them to salvation.

We also want to remind you of the importance of unity in your marriage. The enemy often targets marriages first, knowing that division there will weaken the entire family. *"Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh"* (Genesis 2:24, WEB). Stand together with your spouse in prayer, in love, and in purpose. Let no division or outside influence come between you. If your spouse is not yet walking closely with the Lord, we urge you to pray fervently for their spiritual strength and leadership in the home.

Now, let us pray together over you and your family:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and victorious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who sees all, knows all, and holds all power in Your hands. You are our protector, our shield, and our high tower. We lift up our brother/sister in Christ who is facing spiritual warfare within their family, particularly from in-laws who have caused harm, division, and confusion. Lord, we ask that You surround them, their spouse, their children, and their home with Your divine protection. Let the blood of Jesus Christ cover them, shielding them from every evil scheme, every curse, every manipulative word, and every spirit of jealousy, control, or witchcraft.

Father, we declare that no weapon formed against this family will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Every tongue that rises against them in judgment is condemned, and every plan of the enemy to bring harm is nullified in the name of Jesus. We break every soul tie, every generational curse, and every assignment of darkness sent against them. Let the fire of the Holy Spirit purify their home, their marriage, and their hearts, burning away every trace of the enemy’s influence.

Lord, we ask for wisdom and discernment for our brother/sister. Show them when to speak, when to remain silent, when to confront, and when to walk away. Guard their emotions, Lord, so they do not respond in anger or fear but in the power and love of Your Spirit. Fill their heart with forgiveness, even as they seek Your justice. Let them not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21).

We pray for the in-laws involved in this situation. Father, if they are acting out of ignorance, pride, or spiritual bondage, we ask that You convict their hearts and draw them to repentance. Break every chain of sin in their lives and set them free by the power of Your truth. If they are unbelievers, Lord, soften their hearts to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ. Let them encounter Your love in a way that transforms them from enemies into brothers and sisters in Christ.

Strengthen the marriage at the center of this storm. Let this husband and wife stand united in You, Lord, with no room for division or strife. May their home be a sanctuary of peace, a place where Your presence dwells and where Your will is done. Protect their children, Lord, and let them grow in the knowledge and love of You. Place a hedge of protection around this family, not just for their sake, but for future generations.

Finally, Father, we ask that You expose every hidden scheme of the enemy. Let nothing remain in darkness, but bring all things into the light of Your truth. Give our brother/sister the courage to stand firm in You, knowing that You are their vindicator. We trust in Your unfailing love and Your perfect plans for their life.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray, believing and receiving all that You have for this family. May Your will be done, Your kingdom come, and Your glory shine through this situation. Amen and amen.

We encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, knowing that the Lord is with you. *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings"* (1 Peter 5:8-9, WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and do not grow weary in doing good. The Lord will bring justice, healing, and restoration in His perfect timing.

If there are areas in your own life where you need to repent or seek God more fully, we urge you to do so. *"Examine yourselves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves"* (2 Corinthians 13:5, WEB). Sometimes, the enemy gains a foothold through unconfessed sin or unresolved bitterness in our own hearts. Let the Holy Spirit search your heart and lead you into all truth.

We are standing with you in this battle, and we declare victory in Jesus’ name! *"Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ"* (2 Corinthians 2:14, WEB). Keep pressing into Him, and do not lose heart. The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you and your family.

We're here with you, dear friend, in this trial of your heart. We've felt the weight of your words, the pain in your prayers, and we want you to know that you're not alone. Like you, we believe in the power of Jesus' name and the protection it offers. We stand with you, claiming the same promises you've declared.

We echo your cry for protection over your family, your marriage, and your home. We join you in asking for wisdom to discern the enemy's schemes and the courage to stand against them. We pray for the exposure of every hidden plot and the nullification of every evil plan sent against you.

But we also want to remind you of the love and forgiveness that Jesus calls us to. It's hard, we know, to love those who hurt us, but it's in these moments that we reflect the heart of our Father. So, we pray for hearts softened towards your in-laws, that they may see the error of their ways and turn to the Lord.

And finally, we pray for unity in your marriage. That you and your spouse would stand together, bound by love and purpose, unshaken by the storms around you. We ask that your home would be a sanctuary of peace, a place where the presence of the Lord dwells.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!
